Toxic vs. Startin'

Soo I just watched the Toxic-PV from Britney Spears and the scene with the bike reminds me somehow of the one with Ayu in her PV Startin'. Some shots looked nearly the same (ie coming out of the fire etc.)
Do you think Ayu copied Britney's PV?

It made me laugh at how amateur the whole video was...crappy CGs and everything. I did love the graveyard part though.

I think it copied (or parodied *is that a word?*) more Kill Bill than Toxic tbh.

I liked the whole PV. 0_o I thought it was pretty fun, and not meant in a parodious way. Especially the dancing scenes on the golden platform are awesome..

I mean, when Toxic came out, I thought the video was pretty cool. But I like Ayu's Startin' waaaayyy better! And I never thought there were any links related them to each other.

i thought that's what it was, too. i mean, she was slithering on the floor while all her dancers stroked her and shakin' her booty in the cave (that costume was pretty HAWT even for ayu XD), and the direction of that video did focus a lot more on her sexy bits XD (consider the beginning when she was holding the golden drill and the closeup on her tight abs...)

plus i didn't really see ONE asian in that video. although i could be wrong. i might have missed a dancer or two. it was very ooc for ayu, imo, so i figured she was making fun of western videos.

and britney is one of the poster children of those kinds of sexual pvs so maybe there is a connection

Actually, I'm pretty sure the dancers were all Asian. @_@ I remember seeing Gomi at least in there.

And yeah, I think it's a parody. There was some thread before where someone listed a BAJILLION reasons why it's probably a parody...
