Born, bred and resides in Amami-Oshima, Kagoshima Prefecture, Age for Kousuke Atari is 28.

Two months after major debut single Sorezoreni was released on March 1, 2006, Atari joined Japan Night, an event that took place at Shanghai�fs ARK, performed a few songs with other Japanese artists, and received high acclaim from Shanghai natives.

Later, surprisingly, Hong Kong's superstar Andy Lau covered Atari's debut single Sorezoreni in Cantonese.

In addition, in the upcoming new album Natsukashano Shima, which was released in October, there is a duet with Chinese female singer Han Xue (Cecilia Han).
In releasing Atari's first album Chu Dong Xin Xian, Taiwan preceded the rest of the world. The album marked #4 on Taiwan's g-music chart, as well as ranking at #1 on the Yahoo! Music Taiwan Chart.

On July 11, 2007, Atari released much-awaited first album Yurai bana. The album, after debuting at #7 on the Oricon weekly chart, has been selling steadily since.

At the same year, the duet song with Han Xue, Kotobawa Iranai released became a theme song of 35th anniversary year for Japan-China Naturalization.

In 2008, a Taiwan movie Hai Jiao Qi Hou starring Atari and his song Sorezoreni attained an unprecedented achievement in Taiwan market selling best for local movie.
The album Kizuna Uta was released in Japan, Taiwan, and Hong Kong.

Ok, so I like his song "Hana", and I think it is very relaxing to listen to.

And I also like the song he did for Bleach anime, but I forgot the title already. XD

I enjoy listening to his music, because it is so peaceful and relaxing to listen to. Oh, and his new song "Koi", I love it very much!

"sora ga sora" (I wonder if it's "sora ga kara" though) is written by Kawamura Yuka, and is a gorgeous love song, opening with the two lines,

"I love you not because/you've managed to accomplish something."

Theme song for the movie "katen no shiro" opening in September. The song is said to incorporate choral work, R&B elements and an erhu. B-sides include a cover of "ai sansan", on which he dueted with Ogura Kei, the original writer of the song.
