^ Not exactly. Well, it is technically the OS press, Taiwan press to be precise. I got my Taiwanese friend to buy it for me.

Yes, the subtitles cannot be removed but I appreciate it because I can actually understand what's going on in the concert and I don't have to refer to some translation sheet all the time.

I just got my PREMIUM COUNTDOWN LIVE 2008-2009 A DVD (Hong Kong Ver.) today, and it's turned out quite disaster. First of all, the whole live contained hard Chinese subtitle which can't be remove (this ruined the whole live experience quality). Second, it said on the box that the resolution is "16:9" which enhance for widescreen TV, but it turned out to be "4:3" which is suck also. And lastly, the quality of this DVD seemed to be quite worst than other Hong Kong Version DVDs before. So I'm gonna save my money to buy the Japan Version in the future. I just can't believed how worst the Hong Kong Version this time. Not's worth the money.

^ Where did you get it from? I thought that only VCDs had hard subs. I have a couple of OS presses of her concerts and they have changeable subs.

If you've been deceived by the person you bought it from, approach them for a refund

. Japan version is so expensive but the quality is the best, although I'm ok with OS presses for them too - I've never had this happen.

^ they were talking about that happening~ and Yesasia is sending all of their copies back to the manufacturer and a new batch will come out soon with subtitles that are able to be set and removed~
There is another thread somewhere around here talking about that same problem ~ X_X..i was shocked to hear that this had happened to people

Erg, I think I'll get the Japan press if there's a problem with the manufacturing. That really sucks, Japan press is more than twice the price!

the PCDL 08-09 just started to have chinese hardsub, from the taiwan copy.

true, but at least you are 100% sure you are getting the best quality.
and i had been try to convince people that there IS difference in the JP vs OS version, and hardly anyone believe me, saying it's gibberish.
There had always been differences, it might not be so obvious, but if you put it on really BIG widescreen TV, like a 42 inch, it's more obvious. The OS version are a remake from the taiwan, who remake it from the japan version, and they always down the quality a little.

but this time it seems that they down the quality too far until a lot of people can tell, not good.
