Ayuready might stop in september

According to a japanese source, Ayuready will stop in september.

Anyway, the contract between Ayu and Fuji TV was for 1 year (that's a truth by the way) so it's no surprise to me anyway given the low rating for so long....somewhat a miracle that it survives for a year (perhaps they don't want to offend fans of Ayu and/or the tradition of Japanese keeping their promise no matter what once it's made, i.e: the contract ), given that rating of 6.0% and like would have been given the boot from Fuji TV even if it's a midnight timeslot.

THAT'S AMAZING NEWS! I hope it's true! Sorry to those who love Ayu-ready but I really don't like it ( I only watched the first episode and didn't bother to see the others). It was interesting that Ayu would interact with other famous people but...dunno...lately the episodes haven't been with people I know...(with a few exceptions). I want Ayu to have free time, dedicate to her music only and relax for while - She deserves a break and should waste her time with the thing she does the best - MUSIC. That will mean also less overexposure which is a positive fact imo! But if the contract is redone it will be OK....I just really want Ayu to take a break really! not on songs though LOL).

Ayu is a singer not a person who makes TV shows. The low sales on forgiveness are sad though...but she still made it to 1st. And Ayu still has a veeeery large fanbase, it's not like she'll drop to the worst once and for all. Avex is milking Ayu way too much, and she's overexposing herself unnecessarily imo. I bet a lot of people are getting tired of that (please don't interpret it as being me because I'm really not tired of seeing Ayu everywhere but I know a lot of people who does).

ive never seen an episode so i wont be losing any sleep over this news.. like ImpactBreaker [*Breaker no B ha hanten] said, itll give her more time to focus writing on new material, and hopefully some elocution classes... evidence that she needs them

I'm definitely sad about this!! I actually enjoy the show and look forward to watching it every Saturday night! But then again, it'll give Ayu more time for other things...

Eh, this is sad news, but I guess I kind of understand. I've seen a few episodes and don't see much to them. I guess i's because I don't understand enough. But it's just endless talking at a table. Not really.. appealing :/ But still, I agree, this ill give her time to do other things

Aww... the one episode I saw of Ayu Ready I thought was cute. ^^ Well, I guess I do agree with the fact that not too much goes on on the show and that Ayu isn't a TV persona. Hopefully, she'll now have more time to concentrate on producing some spiffy music for her fans! ^^V

hmm... although this must be quite a blow for Ayu, since she's been doing this for about a year, I suppose it's inevitable with the low viewer ratings. Like some of you have said, it's quite hard to know what's going on, and since Ayu would be talking with some random guest for most of the show (there are exceptions, though), I'm surprised that the show's gotten this far. But if this means that Ayu will begin focusing more on her music career, then I'm for it! Perhaps if Ayu's show was more... entertaining, and was on earlier, perhaps it would've done better.

It wasnt doing too bad for a small talk show. I remember a report stating that it was in top ten (7th) for latenight music shows.

Anyways, i hope it will be for the best. A TV show is the last thing she needs right now, she's on the TV all the time anywho.

I think being unable to understand the show would probably be largely attributed to language barriers and not the show's content. I'm not even completely fluent in Japanese and I was pretty much able to understand a large part of what was going on.

Everybody says that Ayuready has low ratings... Well according to my husband (he's Japanese) the show is doing well considering its late night time slot.
