Basic Introduction
TVXQ an acronym for Tong Vfang Xien Qi (東方神起), is a quintet South Korean boy band formed under SM Entertainment in 2003, and later introduced to Japan under Avex Trax in 2005. Since their debut, TVXQ has become one of the most popular singing groups in East Asia, gaining great popularity in South Korea, Japan, China, Taiwan, and other East Asian countries.

TVXQ is referred to as Dong Bang Shin Ki (동방신기) in South Korea; fans often abbreviate the name to DBSK. The Japanese equivalent of the group's name is Tohoshinki, which is promotionally only used in Japan. TVXQ, the acronym based on the Chinese counterpart of their name, is the abbreviation officially used on all products and advertisements outside of Japan. TVfXQ is also used, but not often. Their name roughly translates as "Rising gods of the East." (동방의 신이 일어나다)

Musical Style
TVXQ was initially marketed as an a cappella group, most of the group's music is mainstream K-pop and J-pop. Their debut single "Hug" was a bubblegum pop song, but their follow up single "The Way U Are" was a dance/R&B number, complete with stylized outfits and choreographed dance moves. Their third major single release, "믿어요" (I Believe), in contrast, was a ballad. TVXQ concluded the year with a Christmas album that also had an a cappella version of "Jesu, Joy of Man's Desiring". With their releases in 2004, the group showed a versatility in style.

With consecutive releases, they have not moved from this formula, as their second and third albums have had a similar mixture without moving outside of the mainstream. The second album's singles, for example, included a dance song (their first release) and a ballad (their follow up). The third album's releases have been dance, ballad and pop tracks. The group also recorded a cappella tracks for official albums released in both Korea and Japan, in which they rearrange original songs as a cappella versions. In the 13th single released in Japan, TVXQ arranged their debut single 'Hug' as an a cappella track and performed it in their 2nd Live Tour in Japan.

In Japan, the group's image and music has shifted towards a different market from the one in South Korea. Owing to their more mature fan base in Japan, TVXQ has gravitated towards a cappella and melodic pop songs rather than the heavy and fast pop tunes, coupled with intensive dance choreography, that are commonly seen in their usual hits in South Korea.

LOL. I think I like the MIROTIC dance version more than the actual PV. XD I just love watching them dance. Their transitions are so smooth. I wanna learn the dance but I'm kind of fail in the dancing department. XDD

haha maybe i've been watching their Korean MIROTIC performances on TV, like almost every week, so I was kind of "full" with MIROTIC, so it bored me.. but now...after seeing TSC performance, oh yeah I'M LOVING IT BACK!

HAHA YEAH, Yoochun's hair was the weirdest..and i don't really like Jae's hairstyle there too..
too short at the back, too long at the front..haha..
he looks the best for now..

all the boys do now! but Changmin's hair has started to grow longer, so he needs a hair cut..probably, soon, because he will start film his drama~

anyway, i love love love love their 4th live tour Survivor performance! new choreo! not that weird stepping cockroach choreo hahaha

Yoochun always has LOL hairstyles. The worst was during O. I think the stylist just likes to experiment on him. XD Changmin looks best with his Rising Sun and MIROTIC hairstyle.

I love that Survivor performance too! LOL cockroach choreo, are you talking about the square dance moves? It's funny that fans have all kinds of different names for that funky dance.

hmm nope, i think it's Yoochun is the one who loves to change his hairstyles and he's not afraid of looking weird/bad, this guy is not a kind of guy who really cares about his image, he will go dork all at once wahaha..

Yoochun looked like Johnny Depp at Pirates of Carribean~ hahaha

yeap..Changmin i love his hairstyle during MIROTIC too

Yunho's worst hairstyle during 3rd Live Tour..what the he** is that? lol~
Junsu... only worst during TRI-ANGLE, and some other long hairstyles that don't suit his face~
Jae... definitely TRI-ANGLE too and some long girly hairstyles..even the hairstyle during MIROTIC.. or together with Junsu during The Way You Are.. Jae was like the big coconut tree and Junsu came to be the mini coconut tree~ wahahah lol

so far, i only found that stepping cockroach dance steps are the most hilarious name..wahahaha.. whatever, who ever choreod that dance step is freaking weird choreographer..hahaha lol

it's true that yoochun has always the weirdest hair (i hate his hair in satand bu u, he looks old)
Jae has the most beautiful hair (well, if he's not blond, i hate him blond)
i think changmin is the less experimental ... but he's the cutest

but i still think is O hairstyle, the platinum blonde hairstyle is the best ever..totally suits him the most!, i got interest with him because of that style~
Yoochun also looks great now, even though i love his T/Purple Line era..org the FITB..the shortest ever but he looked HOT~!
yeap agree.. Changmin's hairstyle doesn't have any extreme change... only that one with braids during FITB, but that's pretty common~ or TRI-ANGLE one..the super spiky hairstyles wahhaha lol

Junsu also doesn't have lots of extreme changes~

i'm almost finished watching TSC~ two more vids left i think~

haha Yuchun wants to be different and weird haha..
but i love it..i love him even more now~ where i used to hate him back then when i first became their fan..but gosh i love ALL OF THEM..
sometimes, it's sad to know that some fans tend to be always biased over one member and not really care about the others... i mean they're in the same group, why would hate one of them...

and i read in a forum, Tohoshinki's thread, when people are starting to talk more about JaeChun duet, or even one of the members who's currently in the spotlight, the other members' fans will start to bash by saying the thread is all over about that one member, and the one he/she worships should better off solo and disband the group..
i was liked, "what the he** is wrong with that person?"

*no offense alright, i just need to spill it out~ and i know that group singers will always have this kind of fans....*

I love Jaejoong's platinum blonde hair. That was his best look.

Just ignore those certain fans who hate on certain members. They aren't really DBSK fans, they're *whoever their fav. member is* fan.

Anyways, when the beginning video for DBSK started the crowd went wild. The stadium became a sea of red and blue lightsticks and everyone (when I say everyone, I mean most of the female population and a few males) was standing up screaming and waving their fans.

Ahhh...They started off with Share the World and it was so good. Yunho and Junsu had a little dance break in the middle where they both did handstands and a flip....People were screaming so much lol, so much more energy than when I watched the 3rd tour T (in Osaka as well). It was great!

Then they sang Purple Line...ahh, the urge to shout *OK!* when Yoochun sings *I really want to touch myself*.....so tempting, so tempting lol. Yoochun was really sexy today lol....

They sang Sky, Doushite, Stand by U, Survivor (this got loads of screams), Summer Dream and Somebody to Love.....

During the ment, the camera focused in turn on each member and the screams grew louder and then ear-splitting when it got to Yoochun. Lol, Yunho went "Yah, isn't that enough for one person?" Haha, poor Leader. There was a pause when it forcused on Junsu and then the screams grew gradually lol...Dolphin is so cute. His charisma was on full blow today.
In Summer Dream he kept the first two moves from the MV (at the end when he improvises) but for the last part he did a hip swing and a thrust aha, he knows how to get the crowd pumped.

It was good to see everyone so energetic and happy despite this whole lawsuit thing. I hope it works out for the best >.< They're too good to split up or be overworked by SM.

Once again Ayu held her THSK towel but this time she went "Today it got signed!"....Waaaaah, my heart. The girls were screaming away.....Lucky Ayu.

Stand by U was beautiful.....Perfectly in tune and they really put themselves into the song. If only they'd cut out the other "Shooting acts" and the main singers excluding Do as Infinity, Ayu and AAA.....

Oh, and Naoya from AAA went "As I thought, Tohoshinki is everywhere" when he saw the stadium filled with green towels, both from BigEast and the official A-nation goods. I was first in line

Next time I'm, going to make sure I'm near to the front...Need to ask a friend in Japan to book for me since you can't do it overseas.
