A chance to new ayu song with new inuyasha episodes...

As many of you will know the new inuyasha episodes " InuYasha: Kanketsu-hen " are out. But does this mean that we could get new ayu songs soon? If you remember, ayu did 2 songs for this anime show, one of her famous songs " Dearest" (used in the 3th ending of the inuyasha series) and "No more words" (used in the fisrt movie as main song).

"Do as infinity" owns the first opening as they did 8 years ago with the second ending of the show....

anyway...

Do you believe that Ayu will sing new songs for Inuyasha as she did before?
-- if anyone of you knows more information about this, please post it --
((By the way, i watched at the show and i loveeee it.... it's a must see it ))

I loved the original InuYasha and I was disappointed with how it ended so...suddenly, so is this an extension?

I think it's quite possible that the artists originally involved will contribute again. ^^

even if she does do an opening/ending for inuyasha, there's no way in the world it will ever be as epic as Dearest.

Do As Infinity - Kimi ga Inai Mirai
It's their new song for new InuYasha, and as for Ayu, i hope so, her song for anime or drama seems memorable~

I think that's a better adaptation of the manga, with the GOOD end lol.
A new ballad from her would be great.. but an opening theme it's fine too

Why would she do it again? True, she did it twice some years ago, but never after that

Dearest wasn't specially done for Inuyasha, if I'm not wrong, none of the anime series songs were... They used famous songs by Avex artists...

I sincerely doubt she would make a new song for it, but they'd use an already made song if anything.

Though personally, I hope they never use a song of hers ever again for Inu Yasha. I didn't even know that they used TWO of her songs until you said that, and that makes me even more mad. I hold a huge grudge towards Inu Yasha that only deepened by them using her song.

^^Because I had collected the whole season (when only one season had come out) on subbed fantapes when it first came out on TV in Japan, spending a fortune on on those tapes and spending weeks trying to find them. My friends and I became huge fans and it became our favorite anime, and no one knew of it. Then all of a sudden it went onto Adult Swim on Cartoon Network and it became the biggest mainstream fandom consumed by otaku f-tards all over the nation, and my friends and I started having problems with people at school (we were in like...8th grade or something at the time, and I'm out of college now) telling us that they were just like...the biggest Inu Yasha fans of all time and that we were just bitter that we weren't as big of fans as they were. And one of my friends cosplayed as Kagome back in 2000 at Acen and only one person at the entire convention had heard of her. Someone even told her that she made the character up and made her very upset. Then the year that Inu Yasha came on Adult Swim there were (we counted) 56 Inu Yasha cosplayers just on Friday night alone. That and people just became huge dicks over their obsession with Inu Yasha and became really rude.

So my friends and I just stopped watching it and became really angry over the whole thing. The Inu Yasha fans were such *******s and it was just overloved. It's like a song being overplayed on the radio. I think Inu Yasha was probably one of the biggest animes to convert people to anime.

And then all of a sudden my friends and I were flipping channels and happened to catch Dearest on the end of Inu Yasha and I flipped. I was so angry because I knew all of the stupid Inu Yasha fans were going to all of a sudden love Ayu, and it was really annoying. And in fact, that week all of a sudden I had like...3 otaku idiots come up to me (because word around the anime community was that I was a huge Ayu fan) telling me about how much they loved her and how they had listened to everything of hers in less than a day and that we should have an Ayu party. I was so pissed.

...

Granted, that was years ago when I was like...14 or something. Nowadays I just kinda roll my eyes, but I don't get nearly as angry or upset. I'm not into that stuff anymore so it doesn't affect me nearly as much. Though I still look back on it with extreme bitterness.

@sugarbasil: I know how you feel

I was also a big fan of the InuYasha series and then all of a sudden 12 year olds became crazed and annoying fans, saying that Inuyasha was the best anime ever and that they resemble with their favorite characters (Kagome, Inuyasha etc) until I had enough and didn't want to hear of IY again -_-

Oh well, those were the past, no crazed IY fans in these days ^_^;

And to be ontopic: Well, who knows? Maybe she'll do a song for IY... but, times had changed since her I am... era, her recent music (in my opinion) dosen't really fit with an anime like IY

I doubt she will do a song for IY again. Unless they decide to use something she's already released. I would think they would use a ballad for an ending theme.
