This is kinda old but I've never seen it on AHS or anywhere like here so I'd thought I'd post it. Britney gets asked if she's heard of Ayumi Hamasaki and she says she has. The video is from summer 2002 so it was around the time H was released.

^ realistically no.. I don't think she would... I think she is too busy with her family to really care about other artists.. I am betting someone told her about ayu that day and she was like not really intrested in her, since she most likely doesn't listen to her because of the language barrier.

Had her soul crushed by music industry over and over again... But this is not really unusual... People who gets mainstream success too young usually has lots of trouble later...

This was a bit fun. The japanese are really proud of their queen Ayu so naturally they just haaad to ask that.

But yeah, I do miss the old Britney too. Of course Ayu is tons better but Britney was such a sweet and fun girl (at least the image I got from her in the 98-02 years)... That makes me happy to see how "healty" the japanese music industry is. Ayu and Britney both started 1998 with Poker Face and Hit me Baby one more Time and look how diffrent they are today...
