No I don't like it. Most of the tracks suffer because the chorus for each song is either bad, not catchy enough, or just plain boring. The repetitiveness in a lot of the songs make it seem like not much time/effort were put into them and also makes them annoying. I'm disappointed. I feel like she has such a good voice but she keeps wasting it on mediocre songs, it's both depressing and aggravating.

No, it's probably her worst album to date. Over the past few years I've learned to expect less and less from Koda as each release passes, but this one just fell completely below my (already low) expectations. Every song is incredibly repetitive, and not in a good way. There's the kind of songs that are repetitive and catchy, and there's the ones that are just boring as hell. Most of the tracks on this album fall into the latter category. It's incredibly obvious that this album was rushed, barely any work was put into it. Completely lazy. I know a lot of her international fans are liking the album, but after seeing the reactions from her Japanese fans, which are the ones that matter when it comes to her sales, I can say it'll be safe to assume that this will be her lowest selling album in years, if not her lowest selling period. Just look at the sales for the singles. It's not that there's anything wrong with her declining sales, that's to be expected, but less copies sold means less money made, and the quality of her productions will inevitably decrease. I think I'm done with Koda now. I've always known Koda's career was a sinking ship, but this is just sad.

It's great! Not her best, but probably top three. Wonderful singles (except for the tragedy that was Alive/Physical Thing--let's just pretend this one doesn't exist, at least as a single, lol XD), awesome PVs, beautiful covers... The only songs I don't really like are Alive (very pretty, but boooorinng~) and No Way (just kinda bleh), and Physical Thing gets pretty boring too... Comes Up and Stay aren't anything amazing, but they're cute and everything. I've decided I like them enough to add them to my MP3 player (probably No Way, too, even, though still debating on Alive :X). The rest of the songs are AWESOME! I'm still kinda sad Hashire! isn't on, but at least they spared us Faraway (definitely one of Kuu's worst songs, and especially one of her worst ballades, lol--it's like the boring-ness of Alive x100 >__>)! XD

It's one of the only albums I can listen to over half of.

Her music is getting much and much more western style with every album. She needs to come to America already and own...she'd have to produce a bunch of dancy hip hop tracks though and leave the cute songs behind :/

oh well. I think she's doing well, but it's obvious her style of music is changing, even if the songs have the same genres, people who don't like this style of music aren't going to be into it.

Probably won't be received well in Japan...but uh, honestly, with what IS received well in Japan, I don't care. It's like Taylor Swift winning at the grammys.

I like it ^^ I think it's better than TRICK and I'm surprised after hearing the album, because a really didn't like the single tracks ^^ but the new ones are nice, still nothing special, not my favourit songs/album oh her... maybe I was expecting a total crap and that's why I finnaly liked it a bit ^^

i really love it! it beats trick from last year easily.

i can listen to universe from start to finish without skipping a track or getting bored. each song is unique and kuus vocals are still kick ass!
