Damn, now I can only see 2 concerts on the 9th & 10th
I'm leaving on the 18th. But I guess 2 is already very nice
But it's good that they are adding new dates, so it must be at very popular demand!

It is COOL that you can see 2 concerts!
I can only see 1 concert in Hong Kong.

I really hope there will be additional shows here.

I think ayu will add more concert dates later...didnt ayu say in the cnn interview that the tour will be from march to end of june?

I wonder if ayu will have a countdown live this year...since yoyogi will be closed...(unless they reopen before that) or something different instead... a A BEST 2 collection live like A Museum...that would be awesome!

I agree, I think it would've been nice for her to add dates to the Asia part of the tour...

Ya. Since the demand for the tickets is FAR greater than the supply.

From the news, you can know that ALL tickets sold out with a few hours.

Matsuura Max talked about the tickets being sold out in 2 hours at a certain venue, in his blog. It really is a shame she didn't put more dates. She'll leave her fans feeling angry!!

This decision of adding more dates to overseas venues doesn't just invole AYU but also Avex top decision-makers. And moving stages and staff overseas maybe not as cost-effective as moving them in around Japan.Plus,
a Taiwanese news says that Tour in Tawan and HK won't earn enough money for cost except Shanghai. One tour in Taiwan doesn't earn enough for total cost, not to mention adding dates. Also, my Taiwanese friend told me that it's usually their strategy to not add more dates in the first year but to add more in the 2nd year. The record company just want to test the popularity of the singer who will sing overseas for the first time. If the sales turns out well they'll agree on adding more dates in the next year. Japanese are careful about money^^". I think to be fair,we should think more before commenting on subject like this. ~Most importantly, no mean to offend^^.

But the tickets sold out within a few hours, still have to test the popularity?

On the other hand, Ayu is not a new singer. She is very popular in Asia. We have her singles and albums in HK version since Boys and Girls. I don't think Avex have to test her popularity in these 3 areas. In fact, the demand for the tickets is FAR GREATER than the supply. Many fans would like Ayu to have additional shows.

And I don't think Ayu will have the Asia Tour again in a short period of time.
Being a fan outside Japan, it's hard to have such a great opportunity for Ayu to held her concert here.

From the concert dates, there is no concert dates on the week of may 16th except for the newly added date may 19th on the saturday. Hopefully there will be something going on that week...hopefully a new single release or additional performances.

Yes, but avex wants to play it safe. They don't want reports saying the concert was only 80% full or something.. they want 100% capacity. Plus, HK Coliseum is jam packed with concerts this year. I doubt that they would've been able to add an additional date anyway.

It is 5 out of necassity. Yoyogi in Tokyo (usually where her concerts are filmed) is closed this year for remodeling. So it's not a surprise at all that more Tokyo vicinity dates were added. I still find it odd that the tour is ending in Fukuoka though, so I wouldn't be surprised if 1 or 2 more Tokyo area dates show up for the very end of the tour.
