Acid Black Cherry - Recreation 2 Album , Out On 30th June

It has been announced before that Acid Black Cherry will be making a comeback with a new single called "Re:birth" this coming summer.

However, it seems, before that to happen, he will come out with a new album titled Recreation 2, which will be released on 30th June 2010.

According to CD Japan, it will be a cover album release from Acid Black Cherry, containing a collaboration song with DAIGO (BREAKERZ) .

O.M.G I'm so excited for this & yes I purposely bold that line cos I'm BREAKERZ biased 8D

the fact that BREAKERZ super respect ABC / yasu super big time , it's a huge plus seeing that DAIGO even calls yasu Aniki / elder brother in his blog

I can't wait to hear this duet song that yasu's going to do with DAIGO , I think it's going to be something great to look out for

I wonder if AKIHIDE's going to play backup guitar for the song , it will be sweet if that's true since I know he provides quite a lot of guitar pieces on ABC's songs til now

Well, I'm not a fan, but it's nice to hear they're (it sounds weird referring to Acid Black Cherry as "him" XD) staying in business. It's one of the biggest newer rock acts that actually sells well, so I'm glad.

A new cover album huh? I wonder if he'll cover any songs I know this time XD. Maybe a L'Arc or Hyde one!

sorry I do know it sounds weird but well ABC is the solo project name that yasu-san goes by

I should put ABC/yasu-san , it looks more better

frankly I have no idea how ABC/yasu-san sounds like to begin with D: , I really should check out his solo stuff & let alone maybe Janne Da Arc since this's 1 guy that's pretty well much respected in the jrock industry

Well Acid Black Cherry's (but also Janne da Arc's) music is very 80s style, with loads of synths and if I had to describe it, I'd call it "Cheesy-rock" XD.

well curiousity got the better of me & I went to check ABC/yasu-san's solo material , well the singles for now

it's not bad & I'm not even a Visual Kei person to begin with

1 of the guitarists in BREAKERZ whose name's AKIHIDE even plays some guitar pieces on some of ABC/yasu-san's singles like

- Aishitenai
- Fuyu no Maboroshi (ah this song's pretty good & cool )
- Yasashii Uso

I haven't heard Yasashii Uso & Aishitenai yet though but I think those should be good

ah I really am a new ABC fan xD . I always have been curious as to how yasu-san sounds like & I decided to try his solo stuff cos well DAIGO's going to duet with him & all

but now I can understand why everyone in BREAKERZ holds yasu-san in such high esteem as ABC's material's good I have to admit & I'm not even a visual kei person to begin with

ah I love my BREAKERZ fandom , I really do 8D

Haha, good to hear. I like his voice, but I'm not a fan of his style. I do like some songs though (Spell Magic, Black Cherry, Rakuen, Nemuri Hime and Yasashii Uso).

Personally, I prefer his cover stuff so I'm really looking forward to this release!

ah ..

so far I'm checking out ABC/yasu-san's singles that he released & I like what I have heard

it helps that 3 of the songs , the guitar pieces were played by BREAKERZ's AKIHIDE 8D

I think I will check out BLACK LIST & Q.E.D (what does this stands for ?!) in due time , I just need a bit more time to get used to this kinda music style cos I'm a visuel kei noob xD

cover album wise , eh I think I will check out the only duet song that yasu-san's going to do with DAIGO in Recreation 2 haha which's Daitokai / Metropolis (Crystal King, 2002)

I will definitely check out yasu-san's cover/take on Mika's GLAMOROUS SKY too cos it's 1 of my fave songs from her . I don't think I will do so for the rest cos I never heard of them at all

haha well the images that yasu-san portrays on his singles & albums , it's quite freaky for me to handle

that's why I think it's best for me not to watch the PVs going on for the singles , if not ick @_@ . I just focus on ABC's music , it's more than good enough xD

black fingernails , coloured contacts , black eyeliner makeup .... I guess those are standard 'accessories' if you're in VK mode

no wait , DAIGO STARDUST also had that going on in him a while back ago COUGH alongside with horrendous cringy cheesy terrible outfits he had inclusive of an alien plant like outfit he wore in the Eien no Space Cowboy PV while riding on a spaceship
