Something about Tsukiko Amano's song Koe reminds me of Ayu's song count down.

^ The verses really remind me of count down, too! :O They have the same sombre, slow piano thing in the beginning. As a matter of fact......they sound almost exactly the same to me, considering I haven't listened to count down much, lol. I could definitely confuse the two until they start to sing.

The beat to the Daft Punk song is really similar to Ladies Night. I heard that song once or twice before....I never would have thought of Ladies Night until now, though.


In general, I think Ayumi's songs sound like no other. It's why I like them so much, despite not being a big pop fan. (Well, her first two albums, especially LOVEppears, are actually really generic...but aside from that. ^^')
So yeah, there's only one song that reminds me of an Ayu song, that I can personally think of.

When I first heard that song, I really considered it was a cover or sample of Boys & Girls, lol. The chorus is a total rip-off.

Rina Aiuchi - Over Shine

When I heard this song at first, I immediately thought about... evolution. I'll understand if no one hear similarities. evolution have faster tempo and it's a way more rockish than Over Shine, that's for sure. But order of the parts in the song reminds me of evolution so badly - similar intro, end of chorus, bridge (a bit...) etc. Riff is almost the same~
I don't want to know if it's my favourite song from Rina because of it.

"Work it out!" by Ku reminds me of Ayu, but not in a similarity. When i first heard this song, i thought "This song sounds like someone write it for Ayu, and she dislike it, so then they gave it to Ku..." xDDDDD

I was just watching that the other day because I was looking up other songs that HAL arranged. I think you're talking about this?

An Cafe's YOU . . .it sounds a lot like MY ALL.

YOU was released on their album last year BB Paralell World.
the song just sounds too much like MY ALL. i was like "does someone from an cafe like ayu. that would be cool lol"
