This is so obviously a response to the Korean girlgroups. The song is bit more electropop, like the style that's popular in Korea, as opposed to Japanese bubblegum-pop.

The problem is that they can't even get their act straight. They still sing with little-girl voices and the song is really fluffy and cute. They'll probably still be succesful : (

They should've released Yuuwaku no Garter.....that song is amazing. Its a bit of a shame that they have to conform. I guess it could be a good thing too. Give SNSD a run for their money.

That's because they had to audacity to actually put Korean in the song. o_o Listen to the song from 1:57-2:02. What do you here? Doesn't sound like Japanese does it?

Their stage material was better. Discuss. While I'm not a fan (and not really that much of an AKB fan either)....it still seems noteworthy
1. Where?

4. This actually sounds exactly like a korean song in my library, maybe by Brown Eyed Girls I think? I'll have to go find it.

edit:

It sounds like they're trying to immitate Brown Eyed Girls style, or something... Way too similar, especially to the chorus of Sign, to be a coincidence.

I love K-Pop (including BEG), and although I definitely see a lot of similarities, I don't think it's ripping anything off at all. It does remind me a lot of Apple is A by T-ARA, but I still don't think it's a ripoff. I'll probably be buying this lol

I don't they were copying THAT song in particular....yes the chorus is a but similar....but that's what all kpop is like...with the repeated syllables.

I wonder if this is a serious single? Really? Its almost like theyre playing the kpop groups at their own game.....especially since they added the Korean lyrics o_o

I dont think it fails because of the style of their vocals combined with the electro...

if anything, it's damn ingenious to take advantage of the fact that no one is really doing that in the mainstream scene lol

It is totally trendy of what is going on in Korea lol They want to jump on it.

I think the song is a little repetitive and it's not really good though I liked the PV a lot

I think I like this.

SDN48 likely won't ever be controversial since all the members are over the age of 20 but I can see them being a lot of fun with their "sexy and mature" concept.

I'll probably order both editions of their single.

Edit: And, oh yeah, I can't wait for Nachu to start showing up!

HAHAHA

The day he/she/it appears will be the moment this group loses any sexiness it ever had.

I really don't like the front girl on the cover though. She just looks too "****ty pornstar" to me.

^

I heard Nachu's more of an MC so if/when she does start showing up, it'll probably just be in that capacity. She probably won't sing or be on stage that much and maybe it's for the best since I don't if Japan could handle so much woman!

And it's funny that you mention a ****ty pornstar...

Before Tezuka Machiko joined the group, she was known as Harada Ourei and was a very, very, verrry busty Gravure model.

Seriously, the more I learn about the group, the more I think they could be a lot of fun.
