Ayu lyrics archive?
I think the chatroom is a good place for this? To be honest I love ayu lyrics, but I only ever like certain translations. It'd be sooo useful to archive all of them. I'm so happy I saved an example of this, cause I can never find the Mirrorcle World translation I want, but I remembered saving it. This is the one I liked the most:

Stuff like that. Who's with me? In the lyrics section we have there's only masa. Masa is amazing but I'd love to be able to sift through them and pick my favourite. I hope people are with me on this! |

My favorite has to be this site
Kiwi-musume She stays pretty up to date on Ayu and a bunch of other artist. When she released Five, I think it was only a couple of weeks after that the album is up (granted its only five songs but still) she's really good. I love her.

I never use any other site when it comes to Ayu-lyrics, because I really like these translations a lot!

The translations on primenova sometimes have mistakes or are awkwardly phrased, but it's the fastest website for it we have and I THINK the most complete so I usually use it, too.
EDIT: I just looked at some translations on kiwi-musume and they are SO much better! They are phrased better, without mistakes in the English and just written more beautifully. primenova has some translations with grammatical mistakes that make it impossible to really understand them. Kiwi-musume is ammaaaaaaaaazing. The translator's outstanding and incredibly nice too. I got directed to that site about three years ago (maybe longer) and I've never used another site since.

Yeah, Kiwi Musune is great! Misa also does great translations. The thing is though, if you were going to create a lyrics archive you would need to get permission from all of these translators before you did it.

There aren't a lot but I like the couple of translation they have on Quartet 4, especially the ones for GREEN & Days. http://www.quartet4.net/?page_id=2704&pgno=2#char_48

I'm pretty sure masa's are archived primarily because he translates and posts them here personally for us to view and takes input in discussion threads to finalise the English readability.
I personally go through phases with my preference for translations. I used to like the more descriptive, "flowery" translations but now I know some Japanese I prefer more basic ones where I get the feeling for myself ![]() ![]() |
