I was surprised there's no thread about her! Will later be edited and improved, didn't have much time now^^

Nana Mizuki (水樹奈々, Mizuki Nana, born January 21, 1980), born Nana Kondō (近藤奈々, Kondō Nana), is a singer-songwriter and voice actress (seiyū) in Japan.
She is the first seiyu in Japan to reach #1 with an album when she released her 7th studio album "Ultimate Diamond" in June.
So far, she released 7 albums, 1 best-of album and 19 singles. She belongs to the first J-Pop artists to release her concerts on Blu-Ray discs.
As seiyu she is probably best known for speaking the roles of Hinata in Naruto and Wrath in Fullmetal Alchemist.

Me too, she has a really nice tone of voice and a lovely vibrato(which is pretty similar to Ayus I think) and she comes SO near to the recordings in concerts! Even when she's dancing. Her voice actually is what got me into her 2 months ago, I watched Etsuraku Camellia PV and the standout things were the amazing voice and her beauty in that kimono.

Really? That's pretty awesome. I haven't watched any of her live performances, but I'll probably download the new concert DVD whenever it's released.

^ im going to upload her LIVE FIGHTER - BLUE SIDE - concert from 2008 next month in around 2 gigs size, you can download that one, great concert(sher even uses blue fire, never seen that before in concerts)

ETERNAL BLAZE is amazing! I love how energetic her fans always are in that song. She did a very good job when she performed that song on Music Japan a few months ago.

Actually, I thought it was really, really weird she never had a thread, it seems she has quite many fans on this forum after all, seeing how her uploads always get tons of "thanks" posts.

I love Nana Mizuki. I think her voice is so sweet and beautiful. My favourite favourite song by her is New Sensation! I love the picture in the first post, Nana looks so pretty.

Did anyone notice that Etsuraku Camellia is about sex? Well, only 2 lines, but still xD Hadn't espected that, especially when yesterday I was talking to somebody about how none of my favourite artists ever sang about sex xD

^ yep, her concert venues actully became larger with the past concerts, first LIVE FIGHTER had her largest audience, than LIVE FEVER and then LIVE DIAMOND. She is on her way to the top. Just wait, in one or two years she will perform in Tokyo Dome!

And I just noticved something the last days, I was on holiday and burned an encode of BLUE SIDE I made to DVD. I made it from a 1280x720 .mkv file which needed horrid ressources, so I don't know if the original source has the same problems, but the video is jumping, all the way thourgh, like once a second. The concert definitly still is enjoyable(at least I was able to really enjoy it) but now I'm wondering if you guys would take it a little jumping as well? I'll try to make another encode tomorrow with another program and format to see if the problem is the file i downloaded or me, but i doubt its me. So: Anyone willing to download it a little jumpy as well? The concert is really hard to get by and the file I used was the ONLY encode that was less than 8 gigs i was able to find, so it will be hard to find a better version.

I heard that she has some sort of record when it comes to seiyu's single releases. Does anyone know what that is? And I gave ULTIMATE DIAMOND and minor listen. It's sounds alright so far.

OK...god and bad news, which you want first? Good? OK!

Nana will be on MUSIC JAPAN on the 17th of August performing Discotheque. I'm not sure if it's new new or old recording, it probably is old because
a) it's not one of her latest songs(ok, doesn't mean much^^)
b) she wears a costume from mid-2008(Animelo 2008 Dancing in the velvet moon costume)
c) it says MUSIC JAPAN SPECIAL, which might mean old recordings
however, I haven't heard about that performance at all, so it might be new, I'll try to make it available for you guys^^

Now to the bad news: Some of you might have read that I had a pretty bad virus a few days back...well, that virus destroyed most of my files, including live fighter blue side, now the only encode I still have is a 480x288 mpeg that's a little jumpy, but still enjoyable, if anybody is interested, I would upload it, it's the best I have now(perfect for mobile dvd players)

The only Seiyu-records record I know about is being first to reach #1(ULTIMATE DIAMOND)

And if you'd like to...come to enjoy her, you should watch concerts rather than listen to her albums, both LIVE FIGHTER concerts(RED and BLUE side) and LIVE FORMULA are completely up on youtube I think, just watch some of it^^
