German and Polish music?

I really want to listen to more German and Polish music (or, even other music from Eastern Europe). Does anyone have any suggestions on what to check out?

The German music I listen to right now is just Rammstein () and Juli. I just found out about Mia. last night and she sounds really good.
For Polish, I love Kasia Kowalska and Goya, but that's it. I've tried a bit of Varius Manx and Myslovitz as well, both of which I liked.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!

from Polish musicians I recommend Budka Suflera and Dżem (both active since mid 70s) or perhaps Szymon Wydra & Carpe Diem band if you'd prefer something newer. from female singers maybe Ewa Farna, she's only 19 and sings also in Czech.

and then there is Julia Marcell. she is Polish, lives in Germany and sings in English, but she is purely amazing. and writes incredible lyrics - I haven't been this moved since I discovered Ayu 8 years ago.

My fave German Band is "Die Happy" (but they sing english^^)
I also like Herbert Grönemeyer, Unheilig, Xavier Naidoo/Söhne Mannheims and Svbway to Sally ^^

Edit: Also very good band is Saltatio Mortis (they make good Middle Ages Rock)

You pretty much found the best of German mainstream music already. MIA. especially are a great pop band. For Polish music I can suggest Doda, she's a very...polarizing singer and personality though. But if you like Poprock you should enjoy her.
