15h Anniv. Concert in Shizuoka?

So I am planning to attend the concerts in Shizuoka on the 8th/9th of June. But I have a bunch of questions so I hope everyone can help. m(___)m I read through immel's guide which was super useful, but it was very Tokyo-centric... but I think some things could still be applied for my trip, like staying at a hostel and stuff.

Has anyone here attended concerts not in Tokyo? Did you just stay in Tokyo and then take public transportation/taxi to the concert location? Or stay in the concert city itself?

How should I go about buying the tickets? I know it's been suggested to wait until I'm actually in Japan to buy the tickets, but I'll be in Korea from the 23rd of May to the 6th and will really only have the day of the 7th to find a ticket if I wait. Also, it was stated in immel's guide that the reseller shops in Tokyo do have tickets for all over Japan but they are more likely to have tickets for Tokyo (and the surrounding area) stocked. Are there reseller shops located outside of Tokyo?

I'm also on a budget since I'll be studying abroad in Singapore a few weeks later, is it usual to attend to both concert dates?

Finally, anyone else going to the concert in Shizuoka?
