There's enough behind-the-scenes, making-of, and rehearsal footage out there over the course of her life where she's wearing them, my guess is that she does need them (unless she's gotten lasik in the years since).

I think she probably got lasik done. I don't think she'd keep wearing glasses when it would be way easier for her to get them fixed, especially since money isn't an issue and she'd probably would have found some time over the years.
It just seems to be unnecessarily inconvenient :/

The glasses she wore here are only an accessory. You can tell her eyes and the part of her face around it don't look bigger or smaller. They usually seem more zoomed in or out, I'm not that good at explaining it but you can see here what I mean

If I remember correctly she said in an old magazine interview that she had a really poor sight.

In some pictures/lives you can tell she is wearing lenses, not just the colored ones (it makes your eye side really bulging, and you can sometimes see their outline).

It is still possible she had them fixed recently, but in some cases you can't.
I personally believe she's still wearing glasses/lenses for correction purposes.

I also have a poor sight and my glasses don't change my face outline when I'm seen from a 3/4 angle. It also depends on what type of correction you have. I think she is/was short-sighted.

It's funny - I wear glasses & contacts to fix my eyesight, and my eyes are SO BAD that even the really thin lenses are too thick for me to put those sunglass clip-on things on them.

My daughter has a pair of glasses with no vision correction on them that she only wears for fashion - they look adorable on her.

So we look very different in glasses - my glasses make it look like the sides of my head are caving in XD
