TWITTER PROJECT -TA TOUR overseas-

Ok everyone.
Here's the thing. Twitting ayu about what we wanted in the past has given at times valuable results. The idea is choosing a day and a precise hour to tweet her asking for ONE DATE in Europe and ONE DATE in America. Let's not be greedy.
the idea is not specifying which cities, but just tweeting about Europe and America. We're not going to obtain anything by asking her to come to 15 different cities, but if we are enough to tweet her just by saying europe or america in general she COULD take this into account. I'm not saying she will, but what's wrong with trying?

The idea would be tweeting her along the lines of "Please add a TA tour date in America/Europe" with an hashtag, something like #TAtouroverseas, #TAworldisone or the likes. We'll choose that. Who's with me?
Please think about it and don't discard this as useless. I know the millions of reasons why she wouldn't/won't do a tour overseas I don't need them to be listed. I just want to try, and if we fail at least she's going to have an awareness of how many people would love to see her, even if in a small stage. If we are enough, maybe it will serve the purpose.

Thank you for your attention.

UPDATE: THE DATE HAS BEEN CHOSEN ---> 01/08 starting 8 am JPN TIME.
Please inform all of your friends about it and ask for all the help we can get through the social medias.
let's tweet to ayu things along the lines of "Please one tour stop in Europe and America" with the hashtag #TAWORLDISONE
Remember not to specify any particular country, we'll get nothing if we ask her to go into 250 different places per person.
Thank you!

Rainbow_smile kindly suggested this site https://tweetdeck.twitter.com/ that you can use to schedule the time of your tweets if you can't be at home on the chosen date or for whatever reason! Plus (s)he suggested to also mention timmy (@timwellard) when twitting, as he often answers to fan and is generally easier for him to see the tweets (being less probably), maybe if he notices us he can say something to ayu.

Not to be a Debbie Downer, but... this is not gonna happen, nor should anyone want it to. tbh I would rather fly to Japan and see her amongst an audience who understands her, and not have to be surrounded by a bunch of mouth-breathing weaboos who're just there because it's something Japan-related (and then hearing them complain that she's not singing the Inu-Yasha song or some stupid trance remix from 2001).

I can see how Perfume got away with it because they're sort of niche/gimmicky. Hipsters dig them because they're kind of ironic. Otakus like them because they're cute Japanese girls or whatever.

Ayu singing "Anything for You" to an audience of indifferent weaboos would just kill me inside.

What I'm trying to say is... It's extremely unlikely that enough people going to the show would have a substantial emotional connection to Ayu. That's pretty much her entire shtick—emotional connection. I would just find it appalling, frankly. But good luck guys.

if it was a TA TOUR you realize that your scenario has 0 chances happening? LOL

also i think it would be a little dumb to limit the tour to FC...that would be not worth it outside Japan.

Well, if it's a TA tour it has even less of a chance of happening lol...

How many fans do you guys think are in TA between both Europe and the US?

Less than 100, I'd imagine.

When would you guys say Ayu's international non-Asia peak was? I remember AHS being poppin' between 2004-2006. Ayu's team already missed the boat in terms of cultivating a devoted international fan community.

I'm in! If it doesn't work (which realistically speaking it won't) we have nothing to lose. Why the hell not try for that 1 in a million chance she will do it? People don't dream big enough. Let's try. But I think we shouldn't mention any specific day. Just "ayu please bring TA tour to U.S. and Europe" Also no "america" write U.S. You say America she could interpret anything from New York to Brazil.

No freaking way, you're really going to do this? I would rather go to Japan to see her at Yoyogi or Zepp Tokyo or Studio Coast or whatever else hall she'll perform at. Overseas live won't happen. It's a fact.

I don't really get all the negative comments. I'm not saying this will happen, it's just to raise awareness.

You shd try a reg performance (not even a tour unless u don't mind she strip off all the concert props and maybe even dancers or $1000 each ticket) you can't expect avex to be a charity to loose money into opening a concert in US/EU for fans.

This sounds like a great idea - count me in! Even for Ayu just to gauge the amount of fans who do want an overseas tpur. The hashtags are good too! Esp TAWorld is One!

Even though we would be hashtagging TA Tour, I wouldn't expect her team to limit it to TA members overseas anyway. It would just be an extension to the tour.

All the naysayers need to take a motherfuckin' seat.

It has already been stated how unlikely it would be, but it doesnt hurt to try. One of the main reasons for ayu NOT to tour outside of Asia is due to budget and how her extravagant shows would never gain profit; the company would be operating at a loss. However, this obstacle can be overcome with a small niche concept tour like this one.

Of course we'd all "rather" see her in Japan, just as most of us would rather spend a day on a private jet with her ass, but you take what you can (possibly) get.

They said A WORLD IS ONE was a long shot.
They said another Ayu Trance was impossible.
Quit bitching and at least give it a chance.

Zeke, you already saw Ayu live. It probably doesn't matter to you at this point.

Taking a trip to Japan to see an Ayu concert has been a goal I've been working towards for some time. If she were to do some low-budget backalley concert in the States, of course I would go! How could I pass it up? But I wouldn't want that to be my first experience seeing Ayu (who retains a certain mystique in my mind), you know? I mean, I'm rooting for you guys, really.

*They said "Terminal" would never be released as a single and it was just a rumor and a joke that we needed to get over*

my first experience with seeing Utada was when she did "some low-budget backalley concert in the States" and it was absolutely amazing. Yes I would have loved to see her in Japan and although I would have fucking knifed a bitch to be able to see her during Utada United, I still think her In the flesh tour was really well done. Not everyone needs a super huge dome arena stadium super final days special live premium ultimage countdown tour.

In fact, I think a quiet, stripped down, intimate, performance would be pretty cool. I can't tell you how much I wish we got footage of the first few performances of her "Power of Music" tour before it got all high and mighty and over the top. And it doesn't have to be low budget. I'm not sure if you know this, but The Wachovia center in Philly, Madison Square Garden in NYC, and the Prudential Center in NJ are all really really huge. She could always try to bring her huge glamorous tour over here if she wanted to.

Just in the tristate area alone, there are more super huge, and super small concert venues than I can count. I'm sure there's thousands of places throughout this country she could perform. She has a lot to work with.

You stole the words out of my mouth.
of course we would all prefer to seeing her live in japan but some of us here just do not have the possibility maybe? There are people here who have been fans for 14 years and never got the chance to see her and most lilely never will because a trip to japan IS expensive and not easy to plan. Anyway, even if she did perform overseas this wouldn't stop you to go seeing her live in japan afterwards or not coming at all. Lol.
