What are your christmas favourites from ayu's discography? Which songs do you listen to when it's christmas season?

I have an Ayu winter playlist, but I love to listen to:
Days, Zutto..., momentum,CAROLS, POWDER SNOW acoustic version (the one on disc 2 from LOVEppears) and, believe it or not, Winter Diary.

Also JEWEL and Dearest are favourites during this time, but I can listen to these songs any time, so they do not give me necessairly winter/Christmas vibes.

I also love JEWEL, No way to say, Days, momentum, CAROLS and kiss 'o kill (because of Secret's release date I used to listen to it during christmas season like every day, so it reminds me of christmas. Now that I think about it, Secret was released 10 years ago...).

Now that you mention it, Secret also somehow rmeinds me of christmas. I never really understood why, but I guess the release date makes sense!

Winter is a dark and cold season here. Songs like Together When, You Were..., Days, Jewel, part of me and dearest always seem to suit my mood. Nostalgic but not too sad I guess.

I also like ayu's performance of B'z itsuka no merry christmas, even if it was never recorded.

My favourite is No way to say, but i love all her winter songs Other favourites would be momentum and You were...
Winter Diary was seen as a very bad song by a lot of people here but i love it, especially the "tacky" intro in english lool

I got Secret as a Christmas present and remember watching the Jewel and Momentum PVs on Christmas day! Makes me wish she would release another album around Xmas time.

Close to you for sure! That's the definitive Ayu Christmas song imo. I've also been listening to Winter Diary (it's grown a lot on me over the past year), M, Zutto..., JEWEL, and No way to say now that it's been getting colder.

Love Songs was released on the 22nd of december yet it doesn't feel like a winter album at all lol, i listen to most of the songs during fall season

^I feel you!! I was born and raised in Puerto Rico, so 18 of my Christmases were spent wearing shorts and sweating my ass off, too
I've yet to have a White Christmas since I moved here to NJ, but there's been a little snow here and there every year, lol. I can't wait for the day that snow is actually FALLING on Christmas Eve/Day, listening to Ayu's winter ballads on Xmas while snow is falling would prob be magical af

Her cover of Itsuka no Merry Christmas from 1999 is the ultimate Ayu-Christmas song. It's fucking flawless.
