Biography
She made her movie debut aged 16 in Kkonnip (꽃잎, "Petal").

Her early musical work is techno-style dance music. Her first single, Wa (와, "Come") topped the Korean charts for three weeks, while her third, Bakkwo (바꿔, "Change") won awards for Best Song and Most Broadcast Song.

With her 5th album, Passion, she changed to a Latin style of music, complete with Spanish Guitar and flamenco-style tap dance.

Many of her songs are sung in an angry mood, from the point of view of a rejected lover.

"Wa" and "Bakkwo" were included in the Korean release of the game Dance Dance Revolution (and on the Japanese DDR 3rd Mix Plus, 4th Mix, and 4th Mix Plus). Fan-made DDR dance steps of her other works are popular with players of DDR simulators.

Chinese singer Sammi Cheng has sung remakes of many Lee Jung Hyun hits such as Bakkwo (became Mei Fei Se Wu in Mandarin/Sat For - Finale in Cantonese), Wa became "Duk Ga See Chung - Exclusive Trial Singing" and Neo(Nuh) (너, You), which became Tian Yi Wu Feng. The remakes have original (non-translated) lyrics sung in Mandarin.

Lee Jung Hyun also released Japanese versions of her early hits Wa and Heaven in December of 2004, and released her first Japanese album, THIS IS HYONY, in 2006.

Evonne Hsu (许慧欣)'s "Lonely Ballet" (孤单芭蕾/Gu Dan Ba Lei) is also a cover of Lee Jung Hyun's "Michyeo" (미쳐/Crazy)

I have her album Fantastic Girl, as well as her special album Summer Party. Both are still available on Yesasia. However, all of her other albums are actually discontinued. I'm not sure why, since she's practically a legend of pop/dance music in South Korea. Fortunately, I recently was able to find and purchase her first 4 albums (as well as Summer Party, even though I already own it) for $40 on eBay. I'm ecstatic because that's an amazing price considering the fact that they're all extremely hard to find now unless you live in Korea.

So does anyone else like her music? And what are your favorite songs? Mine would have to be Ari Ari, Nuh, Bakkwo, Wa, Joolae, and Dala Dala.

Some of my favourite songs are Dahla Dahla, Pyung Hwa, Ari Ari, Ca Tient Moi. Her MV's are really intersting, too.

I should've bought her albums when they were still available ;_;

My favorite albums of hers would probably go in this order:

1. I <3 Natural (4th Album)
2. Untitled (2nd Album)
3. Magic to go to my star (3rd Album)
4. Let's Go To My Star (1st Album)
5. Passion (5th Album)

I didn't include Fantastic Girl since you've already heard it and Summer Party since it's a special/mini-album, but that's the order I'd put them in.

Her MVs are very interesting. Especially when she eats a live fish in Bakkwo

It's not too late to get her 6th album though, and there's always eBay to find her other ones. I'm sure they come up from time to time. I had been checking under her name for an entire month and the one I bought finally came up. Also, "THIS IS HYONY" is a sort of compilation album released in Japan that has all her singles up to her 5th album, with some of her Japanese songs as well, and that's still widely available.

Ive liked LEe Jung Hyung for a few years now. She's a lot of fun!
I've only bought Volume 2, and Volume 5 - Passion so far.
I should really pick up summer party....

I look almost every day for her stuff on ebay! I only saw I Love Natural come up once, and I've never seen the others! How did you get them all!?!?! (there is a bootleg thing thats there all the time, but i dont want it! >:{ )

I have all but her last two albums (korean, anyway). I'm not sure since I haven't checked in a while but the website annyoung.com is a really good korean music store. That's where I got the discontinued CDs. Maybe check there!

Does anyone know where to get lyrics for ALL of her songs in Konglish? Wa and Bakkwo lyrics are just about everywhere, but I really want lyrics for Nuh and Joolae. I found Ari Ari lyrics, but that took quite awhile :\

My favorite songs of hers are (just like most of the other people) Wa, Bakkwo, Michyo (so many different spellings of this song!), and FunFun.
