Aside from Utada Hikaru (that's just an obvious one) which Jpop/Jrock singers would you say have really good english? personally i think Bonnie Pink is head and shoulders above the rest to be honest

Fayray, I can pretty much understand about over 95% of her English.

Chances are the lesser known-artists have much better English than the more mainstream ones. Bonnie Pink and Rie-fu has really good English.

Kumi from LOVE PSYCHEDELICO and the vocalist of CORE OF SOUL seems to have pretty good English too from what I've heard.

I can't understand OLIVIA though even if she's native. -_-

Personally, I think there are Japanese artists with clearer English than Utada.

Kumi from LOVE PSYCHEDELICO. That's all I can think of.
Just on a side note, Hikki's English bugs me... X_x

HYDE's nmm...a hit or miss I think. I can understand it after having read the lyrics, but sometimes you can't really tell he's singing English (IMO). o_O'

I find MISIA's and Mai Kuraki's relatively easier for me to understand regardless what others may say.

Chieco Kawabe's english is pretty good, although it seems she has a hard time saying 'silent screaming' on her new single. ^_^

And I'd have to agree about Bonnie Pink's english... the first song I heard from her was 'I'm In The Mood For Dancing,' and I thought she was an American artist! ^_^;;

Oh! That chick from Seagulls Screaming Kiss Her Kiss Her. I forget her name.. oh Aiha Higurashi. Her English is really good. K from GUN DOG's English is sometimes iffy, but I understood almost all of Chair...

BONNIE PINK is amazing. I think her english is pretty good. Not perfect but she has a pretty good accent compared to most japanese artists out there. I mean, she sings whole original english songs in some of her albums.
Rope Dancer and Wildflower are good examples.

Wildflower: http://s6.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=A0...832F8F766C4D9E

Rope Dancer: http://s6.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=91...7414D571871587

What About Me?: http://s6.yousendit.com/d.aspx?id=AD...4CCEA48A5AB5FE

DoublE has pretty great and understandable english imo.

Crystal Kay obviously has a fluent english. She released a whole english cover album.

OLIVIA, I think she intentionally makes her english not clear because of how she changes her tone of voice so constantly over her songs.

I was hoping someone wouldn't mention BoA...she has pretty bad English. -_-

On most occasion it's understandable when she does one or two lines in a Japanese song, but when she does a full English song, it's pretty tough to understand. The same can be said about Koda Kumi I think.

BoA's english is so ungraceful, i mean the kinda stuff u just wouldnt say as a native english speaking person, awkward stuff. a good contrast is shiina ringo, in the kyoiku album the song genjitsu something... the english phrases are really good, but her accent is still kinda strong

i think there's already a thread about this too...
