Just wondering... does anyone play any musical instruments?

As for myself, I play the violin and am at Grade 7 now. Can't wait to do Grade 8 cos then I don't need to play it anymore!!!!

I played the piano for 6 years, the clarinet for 6, the bassoon for 1... and if you give me some time, I can figure out mary had a little lamb on most ^_^

haha i tried learning piano but i quit after 2 months...i play a traditional chinese intstrument but i don't really know what its called in english....i think its called a chinese dulcimer...

if it's like a super minature vers. of the cello but with only 2 strings that would be what we call a "yi woo" i think. if it isn't then i've forgotten the name. the "12 girl band" have a few of those players i think.

oh my instrument has like all these strings and stuff and you whack sticks on them....lol but i think a couple girls in the 12 girl band play that instrument i play

Yea I've been playing the Violin since the 5th grade and with that talent, I'm a mariachi player and still play orchestra and there's nothing bad with playing a little orch. music!

i played trumpet for a year and alto sax for a year ..

and i've wanted to learn guitar and cello recently!! maybe over the summer?? HMM!

..Played the flute for about 2 years.. I don't know why I stopped playing it. It just wasn't my thing back then I guess.. but sometimes I regret playing it.. because I'd really love to write music for it .. heh.

Later on, I'd love to learn how to play the guitar though

*smiles* I play...or have played, the trumpet (my main instrument), the french horn, the alto sax, percussion (anything except the snare drum on its own), and the flute. Weird combination but yeah...I'm just kinda like that...I also play a little piano, but not very well or very much.

I also sing and used to be a semi-professional folk dancer. I'm looking to get back into it again, but it'll have to wait until after we move next month...

Vln and Pno (good), rock drums; tin whistle and mouth organ aka. harmonica (badly) and also table top drumming (ppl look at me funny usually in restaurants because i do it quite frantically, while bored)

One day I want to be able to play every single instrument, saxophone, guitar/electric, some chinese instruments, oboe, mandolin flute trumpet cello orchestral percussion everything. But instruments like oboes and trumpets are so expensive to buy.
