They do remind me of do as infinity but that makes them more quality than many other taiwanese bands and artists. At least they sing live and have abilities to compose their own tunes

Yea I hope their new album will be released soon, I have no idea when is it going to be..this is their newest album

There is 1 audio cd with a new track and demo versions of 4 tracks from their first album, as well as 2 video cds, one containing a mini-documentary and the other MTVs. There is also a nice 36page booklet with more info on the band as well as some very nice photos.

I also have a signed CD of their first album

If you're looking for good F.I.R. songs, i must reccommend Lydia and Revolution -- Tey rock. I don't know for how long they've been around, but I heard about them around 4 months ago.

I believe they're all Taiwanese..they are pretty new actually..their first album is out in April of 2004, which is still pretty new..that is also their first appearance I bellieve.

Songs I recommend:

Our Love - this is defininty their BEST SONG ever if you really enjoy slow ballad songs.

Lydia Another great slow ballad-like song, somewhat similar to Our Love.

Your Smile - This song is rock, if you like rock..I think you might like this song.this is 1 of my favorites.

Revolution - Another great rock song, highly recommened

Shiny I don't know if I trasnlate this song right in English..but anyways..another great rock song higly recommeend

THese are all the songs I really enjoy listening from their first album, Fly Away is also not bad. I hope you enjoy these.

EDIT: I also added "I Wanna Fly" , it is their newest song.

I Wanna Fly

F.I.R rocks! The whole album is very well crafted, every song in the album worth to be released as singles and I don't really find any fillers in there, hehe. I hope they can keep up their good work, but that's hard, for example looking at Jay Chou, not that he's dropping but I can say only the first few albums are the best.

F.I.R. are their names.

Faye is the vocalist.
Ian is the composer and piano.
Real plays guitar.

F.I.R. also stands for "The Fairyland in Reality", the name of their album.

the first thing (i mean the *first*) thing that struck me when i for the first time saw them in the "Fly away" PV back in summer was that i noticed there were 3 ppl. more specifically one girl and two guys. whose role's in their band looks suspisiously the same as some ahem j-pop groups. and the band names are shortened to 3 letters too! hm... i thought.

i've only heard "fly away", its an okay song. i think it's too derivative though and average execution. i'll click on those YSI links from a1strank when im in the mood

that album cover pic, look at the Kaori Mochida face of Faye!
