Ayumi Hamasaki Karaoke Revolution (JP) version

WOW! I just got the first three Japanese volumes of Karaoke Revolution for the PS2 and I was looking on the back cover of them (where it tells the song artists) and Ayu has quite a bit of songs.

Volume 1
Love~Destiny~
appears
SEASONS
M
July 1st
HANABI
Voyage
everywhere nowhere
Heartplace

Volume 2
evolution (OMG XD)
Who...
We Wish
Real Me
a song is born

Volume 3
A Song for XX
I am...

Some other artists I really enjoy are also on there (ELT, BOA, DAI, Hikki, and more). It's just...after popping them in...I can't figure out how to play ><. Does anyone have any of these and can play? They're soooo different from the American versions....

But yea! If anyone's interested in singing and loves ayu, definately get these import these and a Japanese PS2!

Poops, well, I guess I'll be guessing for a while. I have some Japanese friends at my college...but I won't see them for a while. Haha, woo, I guess the Japanese classes I took will actually help out for once!

Also, konami seems to have gotten cheap and not gotten the actual mix of the songs themselves >.>

So they are just voice-removed and there aren't any actual instrumentals at all?

That would be so awesome. I've got the American Karaoke Revolutions, and they are pretty stinky. I really should get a Japanese PS2...

So the songs aren't the "actual" mixes of the songs? What do they sound like? I remember someone saying that they were like MIDI-quality, which sort of turned me off. ^^;

Well the vocals are removed and the song instruments are changed...almost midi-like.

I also played the Japanese version of the original Donkey Konga. Fly High was featured in that...but it wasn't Ayumi singing that one either >.> The singer was okay...but at least Nintendo tried to make it sound good. Good game Konami... ><

It's a Playstation 2 game (Donkey Konga is a gamecube game. And also...if anyone's interested in the American Donkey Konga 2....it's craptastic. Nintendo was worried about getting the most popular bands/songs that they forgot to actually get ones that worked well with bongos )
