White = males

Requirements are probably popularity and sales amount. Or something of that sort.

The songs listed up there are what the author of the webpage thinks that artist will perform at Kouhaku. In other words, the author expects Ayu to perform "HEAVEN". (Although I can't really see her performing any other song, but a rumour remains a rumour until proven.)

I noticed that. Still I believe she'll perform HEAVEN it's the best song to sing.

I thought this year was a "special" year for Kouhaku, where singers sing their greatest hit(s) chosen by the audience and not their best selling/most popular single of the year. I expected Ayu to sing SEASONS or Dearest looking at the poll.
