My friend has a pair like Ayu, we call it cookie monster shoes XD Her pair is entirely that fuzzy material but she has other ones that just go over normal boots o_o

They're akin to legwarmers from the 80's, only it's more of a thigh-high bootcover/pant leg hybrid. Imagine if you cut off a section of your pantleg, stuck some latex for hold on the inside upper ring around your thigh and wore it around. They're actually a lot of fun fashion-wise, you'll get odd looks from people who think you're insane though.
