YesAsia is not going to carry the 4th DVD to complete the boxset

Maybe it'll show up on eBay sometime. Have you tried looking at CDJapan for it? (if YesAsia can't carry it then I wouldn't think CDjapan would be able to either, but it's worth a shot to try)

as reported before.. the 4th dvd will be CDL 2002-2003.. Mike reported that awhile ago..believe me if you want.. but the fourth DVD IS CDL 2002-2003

BTW - I'm thinking of threatening YesAsia with legal action for false advertising ^_^

Isn't there someway that you can get it to me? because no where on the site when I ordered it did it say that I was unable to recieve the fourth DVD, in fact, it said that it would come with it. -

That's false advertising. I paid for my 4th dvd of Countdown Live 2002-2003 and I want it. That's one of the reasons that I bought the box set - "This special video is only available in this box set and no where else!" I figured since you said that that you would be able to get it in.

That was exactly my reaction when I purchased my boxset. I knew there will be some troubles with the 4th DVD..but the announcement on Yesasia was so clear . "Included"... so I rushed like everyone that have paid...to have the "Complete" Boxset.

I think they will have troubles now if they don't correct the notice to users. If it's a mistake just to sell more...too bad. If it's a mistake or a misinformation they have to give some extras to the one's like me who have bought it and to their charge.

Avex usually releases Ayu merchandise with Ayu's name as "ayumi hamasaki" instead of with capital letters so it's not an error.

YesAsia has false advertized many times, even to me. I asked about whether they would do a "RAINBOW album + poster set" and they said no and told me it was better to go ahead and order the album. The next day they had the album + poster package available. >_<

I'm still trying to wait and see if there will be a VCD set released anytime soon just to avoid the YesAsia fibs about the DVD set. Yes, I support YesAsia because I can easily give them payments and their prices aren't that bad, yet their false advertising and preorder setup is very frustrating. They never tell you about new releases until either 3 days before it's released or the day that it's released whereas CD Japan has preordering available weeks to months in advance. YesAsia really needs to get its act together.

That's not exactly false advertising, that's just lying.. they said on their site that they were going to carry it and now they're not and probably 90% of the people who ordered it don't know that they're not getting the DVD. That's just wrong. I mean, if they can't get it in, they can't, but they shouldn't advertise that they're going to have it with the set!

Chibi - they have a coming soon section which shows future releases months in advance. They just don't allow pre-orders until right before, which actually makes more sense imo in case anything changes with the release when you order it months in advance.

Yes, but on the actual pages for the artists they sometimes won't list the item as "to be determined" until a few days before it's release or the night before even when it has been confirmed from other stores the company itself.

I'm slightly confused as to why you would think you'd get it despite what the YEsAsia site says?

It was well known info that the boxset would come with a coupon which you would need to send back, and the distributers of the DVD would only ship it within Japan.

And that the YesAsia page for the boxset lists it as being 3 discs not 4, which clearly confirms that the box is being sent with only the 3 DVDs (how it comes packaged) and not 4.

I just find it weird that you were so quick to believe that poorly phrased YesAsia information despite all this other information being known for quite a while.

Oh well doesn't bother me I got my boxset on Friday, and my coupons going out in the mail tomorrow to a friend in Japan so I'll have my 2002-2003 CDL

They changed the procut description after I sent them the e-mail. The coupon would be redeemable at stores, so you would think that a place who sells these overseas would have the dvds in to send off when people buy them. Their product description which included the words - "but also includes an exclusive 2002 December 31st Live concert at Yoyogi Hall capturing the amazing countdown to 2003!" Would add to the assumption.

Of course, after I e-mailed them they changed it to - "but also includes an exclusive 2001 December 31st Live concert at Yoyogi Hall capturing the amazing countdown to 2002!" Even though I have yet to recieve a repsonse..
