The festivities culminate in a pop/rock concert entitled, "One Love, One Day, One Life," featuring Japanese pop trio, Core of Soul at the Streetscape, Shangri-La Plaza Mall on Saturday, Feb. 25, 8:30 p.m.

The concert also features the Philippines’ top pop/rock acts — Barbie Almalbis, Hale and Kitchie Nadal.

Core of Soul is composed of Fukiko Nakamura (vocals), Song Rui (guitar & bass), and Keisuke Iizuka (keyboards).

Their style has been described as "electric meets electronic," "relaxing and introspective."

Since their major debut in 2001, Core of Soul has released five solid singles and two albums. Their single, "Purple Sky," is the theme song of the Philippines-Japan Friendship Year.

Admission is free.

The wave of events highlighting Filipino and Japanese arts and culture is in celebration of Philippines-Japan Friendship Year, as declared by President Gloria Macapagal Arroyo by virtue of Proclamation No. 905, in commemoration of 50 years of diplomatic relations between the two countries.

another concert? they also will have one in indonesia...I think they're on a tour....

OMG!! i can see that ad every where in my school... but i never really paid attention coz all i know was local bands were playing... *ive seen them a million times*. and now i hear this news!! waahhhh!! now im definitely going... at least there is a japanese group performing!! yeah!!

Streetscape! here i come.. again!! hehehe.. its been so long when i last partied there, hehehe.... ill look for ayu stuff... if they are selling...... now im excited!!

i think this is the first time that a japanese artist is going to the PH!
