Do you think that [startin'/born to be...] wasn't get a huge promotion?

i think its really weird
around this time, usually ayu has promote her new song in TV or becoming a cover for a magazine...but this time...she do nothing for promote it
i'm afraid it will affect her sales
i think this single was PRETTY GOOD and AWESOME
but it need to promote...if not? i don't know what will happen
maybe its because her tour
ah...hope this single will get A HUGE SALES

well.. its still early.. she usually dont promote her singles until a week before her release date.. and i think she is busy rehearsing for her arena tour 2006 ~(miss) understood~

but i think a good single must have a good promotion too..
although a big tour need a HUGE rehearsal too..

It's a little early to tell.

Plus, if you're not in Japan, you really don't know the extent of the promotion (like if there are promo posters up, newspaper articles, etc).

I can't remember hearing anything about covers or appearances - are they just going to be announced closer to Mar 08?

isnt 'Born to Be...' tied in with some network's olympic coverage? if it is then i would assume that the song would be played whenever they talk about the olympics...

it's quite early to say whether there's any promotion or not. I think ayu didn't do any promotion of STEP you until the week before release. At least Startin' pv is aired already. Plus like ayu_fan929 said, Born To Be... should be played somewhere. There promotion should be OK at this stage.

Well Startin' has been shown on mtvj and ofcause on the olympic coverage for tbs Born To Be... is there track. So it is being pushed out there

Maybe she wants to see if people will buy her single without her promoting much. LOL...

i think it will come on the first week of March...If she doesnt then it cud mean that the AT is gonna be gd gd

yeah..but usually there is a schedule update about her performance
but until now..there is nothing about her performance

Actually, it's already been confirmed that the single will be out on 8th March and that the tour starts 3 days later, hasn't it?

But anyway, I think we'll see the usual round of promotions again, maybe even less, since she has to go on tour during that period of time. Just hope that she doesn't overwork and fall terribly sick then.

i think STEP you/is this LOVE? single was released on April 20th and her first performance was April 13th, so that's like a week before

so maybe we just have to wait a bit longer...hopefully...

Isn't Startin' also the theme to a game? Fans of whatever game it is will probably buy the single too. I'm sure the single will sell.

maybe too many artists are getting their promotion done around th same time and Ayu's turn isn't up yet... they'll be there~ ^^ just not yet

I'm sure you will see her schedule get updated with appearances in the next few days. Also keep in mind that her tour starts on the same week the single comes out so she is busy with that.
