Hong Kong versions of CD+DVDs?

Ok I have a question for anyone whose bought a hong kong version of any CD+DVD on yesasia.com.

I'm aware of the NTSC and PAL formats for television, on yesasia.com it says the hong kong version is in NTSC format but doesn't Hong Kong use the PAL system? Is it really NTSC format? I want to make sure the DVD will play fine for me before I buy it. (I'm living in the US so I have NTSC)

thanks for help please.

Overseas version (Taiwan and HK) DVDs are indeed NTSC.
I have Avex Asia's release for A MUSEUM and the complete clip box and both use the NTSC picture format.
