Thoughts on Blue Bird?

Just listened to it and it came out sounding like pretty much what I expected from the preview - not a bad track, but nothing incredibly memorable either. Like I don't see myself still constently listening to this years from now like I still listen to Hanabi, Ourselves, July 1st, independant etc.

To me it sounds like Born to Be mixed with Fairyland.

Hopefully Beautiful Fighters will be the stronger of the two.

I agree, it's something between 1st July, Fairyland and Born to Be... And I'm waiting for Beautiful Fighters. I think it will be better.

I like it but just because I adore fairyland! lol I see many fans being disappointed. Angel's Song, Fairyland, Born To Be, Blue Bird: 4 songs that sound more or less the same are two too much.

I really like it. It's like a song that gets played in a movie during a part at the end where some main character has finally broke free of something and it just shows them walking/running through streets all happy and junk. I agree it's not quite memorable, but it's still a nice song. It makes me smile...

i soooooooo love this song.... i was like O.O... i was sooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo wrong when i bash the preview.. its really good...its like Magic from Fairyland and that summer feel from July 1st... i just love it.. ^o^

Ouiiiiiiiiiii =D It reminds me a little bit of fairyland and July 1st.. I like how it comes in nice and soft.. the preview didnt really make me think it would be nice like this.. No, it doesn't' BLOW ME AWAY, but its a nice song and I like it alot.. And I'll probably like it even more if it has a nice PV!!! And when I read the lyrics! Yay!

I like it - I really do. Although it isn't anything spectacular, its better than what I thought it was going to be. I'd say its a little above average. However, just barely.

::edit:: Haha, for like..the first 3 seconds of the song, it reminds me of Shiina Ringo's "Tsumi to Batsu.

I really like it! You can really feel the summer in the song! and it does sound like a mixture of Born To Be... and fairyland but both songs were really good in my opinon so BLUE BIRD turned out to be a fantastic song!

OMG! I love this song! Hopefully her new album will lean more towards this style and unlike Startin'... Startin' took me a bit to get to like and I LOVED if for about 2 weeks once I got to like it and then I didn't anymore. I LOVE this song from the start and it is definately better than Startin'/Born To Be... I can't wait for Beautiful Fighters because I think it will be even better!!

Ooh! I just wanna dance to this song! I guess it does sort of remind me of Angel's Song abit which I recently became overly obsessed with for some reason!

I don't know how you guys can't like it, lol... I think it is something new mixed with old... I love when she says "Tokiwa" around 1:50-1:54! I don't know if I'd be able to take it if I didn't like this song after being dissapointed with Startin'... I guess it isn't good for you guys... sorry!
