Album Version, Original Mix
What is difference between those Album Versions and Original Mix songs?
I think that album version will have slight different instrumental with maybe different intro/outro? Are all the singles Ayumi released like this, where main songs, such as ex. BLUE BIRD, will have one way of the sound, but when on the album, it will sound different? Or is only a few songs unchanged from single to the album? If it is only few singles unchange (no different with original mix or album version), which one? |

Only a few of the single "original mixes" were changed into album versions. Usually the instrumentation itself is totally the same, but the mixing is a little different (the volume of each instrument relative to the others, effects on some instruments & vocals, etc.)
These are the ones that have different mixes on the album than the "original mix" on the single: TO BE monochrome too late immature (TOTALLY different instrumentation in this case) Endless sorrow (but the album had it listed as being different) alterna That's pretty much it. Other singles have different mixes as the title track, but it says on the single that it's not the original, like these: WHATEVER ''Version M'' (version J is the original mix, but since nothing is called "original mix" for this song, it's worth mentioning) appears "'99 Greeting Mix" kanariya "Jonathan Peters' Vocal Club Mix" Fly high "HAL's Mix 2000" AUDIENCE "Dave Ford Mix" Daybreak "HAL's Mix 2002" And then there are album versions that are remixes or new versions of single tracks, and it says so in the booklet or credits. WHATEVER ''Dub's 1999 Remix'' Endless sorrow ~gone with the wind ver.~ independent+ So it doesn't happen much (except for the LOVEppears album). But it does happen.

May I know what's the different between Bold & Delicious 'single version' & 'album version'? Because I saw the (miss) DVD mention "Bold & Delicious ~Side Story~ (Album Version)" ?!

The title of "Bold & Delicious ~Side Story~ (album version)" refers only to the video, not the audio track used. Side Story means it's off-shot from the making of the B&D PV, and album version means it's a version of the Bold & Delicious PV that's only available by buying the album. There's no difference between the audio tracks of B&D used on the album and on the single.
