Anyone Knows Why Ayu.......
Does anyone notice that in ayu's earlier years -1999 and 2000, when she was singing, she tends to bend down. Like her Arena Tour 2000, she kept bending down.
Does anyone knows why? i thought it's tougher to sing with your body bending, since your voice won't flow out well. Did ayu ever mention why? and when she stopped doing this?

this has been asked before
but i think the anwser was because she couldent reach the higher notes or was able to hold the note all the way though so she had to try to push the rest of the air out of her lungs.so yeah it was exactly what u guessed

It's funny that people do things like that though. It really has the opposite effect on your voice that you intend it to have. I don't pay much attention to it; I think a great part of it is just the drama of the performance: shaking your hand in the air, pounding your chest, bending over, stomping your feet... it's all getting into the song.
If she actually did stop doing this around 2000, I would have to guess that it was because she finally learned that it isn't any help to your voice. Interestingly enough, it was probably around that time that her voice really started to open up and flow out a lot more easily. |

I think ayu was still in the mindset of someone who's just had a few beginning singing lessons and thinks they know everything
I took ONE day of singing lessons, and for awhile i had some of the same habits Taking operatic singing lessons, I learned that if you push your stomach in & tighten your muscles, you can get more out of the air in your lungs. I was taught proper technique for this later, and bending over forward isn't it. You'll just hurt yourself. ~ It does have to be done properly. But a beginner, hearing the stomach-tightening idea, might take it upon themselves to try bending over since that does tighten the muscles a bit. But it doesn't really work right.I think that's the case since, if you remember the POWDER SNOW cm (this is most obvious here), she pronounces her "ii" sounds with her lips puckered out, rather than in a smile. That's something else singing teachers tell you to do, so at the time, those sorts of lessons were probably fresh in her mind.
