Hyde's CD Faith

I really want this CD cuz everything I hear from it, I LOVE! but... all his stuff about God on this album... is he like poking fun at God or does he mean it?

uhmm...i don't know honestly. i bought it at a local record store not knowing a lot about it and was surprised about all the religious references. but i don't think he's making fun of any religion. i think he's just trying to make an artistic point, or try to be "goth" and cool. i know the song about dolly is referring to dolly the cloned sheep, in what i saw as a condemnation of humans playing god, so i would doubt he's taking a negative stand point on any religion.

then again, i haven't really checked the lyrics in a long time. i'm sure someone else will know more concisely than i.

Hmm....is his album going to be released in U.S because I saw an article covering Hyde and his album at Wal-Mart magazine section (forgot the name of the magazine) and I can't remember whether or not it said he going to be releasing an album here?

All I know is when I heard this album, my first thought was...

"what the hell happened to this guy? He must have really effed up."

It's funny because my friend and I call him "The Priest"

yeah...but I love him. His music is the sex. Maybe because he sounds like the reincarnation of Kurt Cobain.

Wasn't 'Faith' released through Tofu? Anyway, the album is really good. In no way is it mocking religion.

I think before even thinking about purchasing the album, you should have skimmed through some lyrics.

You'll then realize he is far...no FAR from mocking God. If anything he is encouraging followers and praising Jesus Christ.

Yeah, he's not a Christian - he's just expressing his interest in religion.

I liked HYDE before but I never really liked this album. It just never grew on me. *shrugs* 666 was much better.

Faith sucked. Stupid Borders charged me $18 for it. 666 was 666 times better.

Yup! 6 in Japanese is roku

I myself am a moslim, but I don't care if the text is all about Christian stuff. As long as it's good music and the lyrics are smart written. I think he wrote about it in a positive way.

I have Roentgen album of Hyde and I really want to buy 666 and Faith!
