Let's talk about Utada United 2006!

Okay! Let's talk 'bout Utada United 2006!

Wot do you've to say 'bout it? Is there anything else that you wish Utada had done in her concert? Let's talk 'bout 'em now!

Alright! This is wot i think 'bout the concert and everything.

Firstly, the concert stage design and how those background HUGE screen worked and played is just really brillant and amazin' ,man! WHOA! Haha... Everything is just really sweet and i like it. The way how the background flow with the music so on and on. I've never really seen anything quite amazin' like this, seriously! Also another thing that i like is the new arrangment of her songs. Brillant!

Dun't know why. Sumehow i dun't really like Utada's voice and singin' style in this concert much. How to say this? Ummm... I kinda get the feelin' that she's abusin' her voice and it end up kinda deep? Dun't know. Did anyone realize this? Or think the same way as i do? But i really gotta admit that Utada's voice have really grown mature and stronger now. I like it!

But really, wot i'm really disappointed with this concert is the way Utada's singin' style is totally gone. I dun't mean that by she didn't hit the note right or anything like that, but as in the way she used to sing live. Ummm... Man... How should i put it?

I mean Utada is like the only singer that i've ever crave for her to sing live. Cause her live version is always different from her studio version. In her live concert, she can whisper a few small words (That R&B?) into the song and make me like the song even more (It's so sweet!), but in this concert, i dun't really hear that. I really wish she did though. I guess, she still did a little here and there a little bit.

Another thing is her tracklist for this concert, there are nut really that much song at all compare it to her previous concert tracklist, they're way much better, man! And this is where i'm startin' to think that, maybe this is sumething like a small mini-concert, but nut really a big and complete one. I dun't know! *Shrug* I kinda get a feelin' that Utada will make another big and complete one sumetime soon in the future. That's wot i guess only!

Haha... And the last thing is her outfit, i like the first one and the red one without the jacket on! I think they're pretty and suit Utada! While the other is... UGLY! (Ow... Man! I miss Utada long pretty hair!)

Meh... I think it would be bloody brillant if Utada wore that black gothic dress in NYC showcase singin' her english song would be AMAZIN' ! But she dun't have that long pretty hair anymore. I think i would turn into Hulk and smash the television!

But after all, i still think everything is ace!

That first "OMOIDASEBA" got me shivering, it was that good. I only watched the songs that appear on "ULTRA BLUE" so I wouldn't hear her older songs and it was a disappointment that 3 WHOLE SONGS out of 6 that I would be going to hear were accompanied by a CHELLO. No, thanks.
But the outfits were amazing, she was really haute couture and the encore look was super smexy as well.

I really enjoyed it! and I agree with you! I have not seen any of her past concerts but this one is special!...

and I just have one question... where was the sale on big screens cause I want some!! ayu had the same! haha.

the stage design (the hude digital screen) BLOWS me off !!!! It's a eye-candy for all and i think overtake the singing part of the concert a bit

Her costumes this time was great, compared to her two previous concerts *shiver* where she wears different outfits for different performances and most of them dun look good

Her vocal was different this time round. Her pitch become a bit too high then usual and she sounded weird. If anyone saw her imitation of Shiina Ringo in her bohemian summer 2000 tour, her singing remained me of the imitation where her pitch became very high and ....annoying >_< I also like the adlibs she added in most of the songs making them sounded different. She didn't do it in her budoken tour though...

The new arrangements of the songs are totally GREAT !!! Omg...they give new life to the old songs !!!! I dled the DVD audio mp3s of the whole concert and i was amazed by the new arrangements of the songs !!! They sounded sos different from her originals !!!! I can tell the whole utada crew really put in a LOT of efforts rearranging the songs which they didn't in bukoden 2004.

overall the concert was great to watch and hikki's performance was great this time compared to her previous concert. I will definitely buy it (i bought all her concert video though )

Well... I just thought of sumething.

If Utada gunna sing her old songs, it's more suitable that she wear sumething normal. Meh... It would be hella weird if she's singin' her old songs wearin' fancy outfit! Haha... Dun't you think so? Maybe this is the reason why Budokan dressed like this and this concert like this. And maybe this is why the concert tracklist arrangment is like this?

Her outfit was... blah....duh.....It was just too simple and ridiculous, It would have been better if she wore the dress in Sakura Drop and she does keep that dress,it was shown once in keep tryin' PV.

About this live, her voice improved, especially Passion,still remember those music station passion lives of hers, it was totally sucks and she even didn't manage to reach the "zutto..." part.It was better in this live.

Even so,I still dun really lke Utada United. AT06 of Ayumi is way better

The only outfit I liked was that pink one towards the end, although I like certain aspects of the red one.
