Was "Secret" mini-album planned to mimic songs from "Memorial address"?

If you think about it, the songs that were originally planned for the mini-album all have their own similarities toward songs that were in Memorial address...

From the way they promoted it, it definately seemed so Though Memorial address would have ended up a lot more rock oriented if Secret was the minialbum. Instead it was the other way around :|

I don't feel that Ayu herself was personally trying to mimic the tracks of Memorial address as she herself always follows the same formula of typical rock/pop/ballad songs, and tries to evenly distribute them throughout the album. This has kind of been the formula since I am... where she left the 'whole one underlaying genre' album theme. For example, ASFXX had that innocent/pop sound throughout the album, whilst LOVEppers was compiled of completely pop yet melancholic tracks. However (m)u has both the darkness of Criminal and the pureness of Beautiful day.

The choruses sound similar in a slight way? Don't you think? Them both being really fun/poppy.

well.. i dont really think its planned to mimic songs from MA. in almost every ayu's album, there are some fast songs, slow songs, rock ballads, rock songs.. so i dont think its actually planned. it jus happened like dat...

simple, the pv = ourselves = lots of people, beautiful fighters = lots of people

hanabi episode 2...I dunno ,hanabi fits more with momentum

That's because ourselves is the sequel to Beautiful Fighters. The creeeps came to get rid of sweet sugar sugary ayu once and for all.

Well, Selan was the Magical Wife, Magical Selan, and... that... relates somehow. I also keep messing up the typing of her name.

I'm referring more to the fact that Lufia II was a prequel to Lufia: Fortress of Doom yet it was made after the latter.

oh noo noo noo you can do this with any Ayu album. Ayu has alot of music styles and so it's easy to link 2 songs together. But when you can't link songs together, don't 'settle for' a link like HanabiII-Startin'....

I think I didn't explain myself clear enough, lol. I don't think at the beginning of 2006 she decided, "I am going to make a new mini-album and I want all the songs to be somewhat similiar to those on my last", but I was more thinking that after BLUE BIRD, she/Avex went and decided that the new songs being used to promote the album would be similiar to certain songs on the Memorial address album... Then it would only go something like this...

I don't really think that they are similar.

And to my knowlodge, momentum wasn't going to be on the mini-album. The new songs would have been JEWEL, 1 LOVE and Secret. At least I think so
