^ Wouldn't that be a little stronger? Apologizing for hurt rather than worrying about the actual fault? Just a thought... Expressing my opinion...

Apparently he heard about that Friday report (Ayu drinking) and he said he didn't mean to hurt her feelings. If Ayu was really affected by what he said, then he's sorry for hurting her feelings. |

Eason Chan accused Hamasaki Ayumi of lip-syncing sometime back, resulting in an uproar from ayu fans, and even rumours that ayu shut herself in her hotel room and got drunk to forget the sadness! On Friday night, when Eason attended an event hosted by a TV company, he apologized to ayu: “I did not mean to hurt her feelings! If I did, I’d like to say sorry! However, I will not make a public apology, because I have already made one privately! I have asked Taiwan’s avex director to relay my apologies to ayu. I really did not mean to put her down, and did not realize the huge impact it made, I only said what I thought then!” Hearing that this incident has resulted in his “fame” in Japan, he said in surprise, “I did not plan this to happen! If I became famous in Japan just because of this news, then I won’t feel any glory!” Eason lamented that, ever since his debut, every comment he made would result in bad things, “I just say what is on my mind, with no ulterior motive!” translation by: goku @ ayunite Quote:
Eason Chan, who has a straightforward, blunt way of saying things, suspected ayu of lip-syncing one-third of her concert when he attended the Japanese Queen’s HK concert sometime back. The comment stirred up huge waves, with some Japanese media hinting that ayu was so upset she took to bingeing on alcohol. On Friday night, Eason said that he had already apologized to ayu privately, and even said that he will not put down others just to break into the Japanese market! In order to promote his new Chinese album “Just accept it”, Eason specially invited 60 fans to the TV studio to participate in his “Good to be home, Eason Chan’s Easy Talk” programme to discuss the album. During this, Eason revealed that his new song “Long time no see” was sang in an imitation of Leslie Cheung’s voice. Eason said that Leslie was his idol, and that there was much to learn from him. Even though Leslie’s style and singing have been criticized during his debut, it eventually earned the respect and worship of his listeners. During this, he said with feeling, “Leslie was a big influence on me, but I’ll say that my influence is quite big too”. Talk on painful words Did the following sentence refer to the incident of ayu lip-syncing? He said, “Sigh! I admit that sometimes I say things which result in many bad things. But my company will testify that I have never intentionally said anything to hurt someone. I just say what is on my mind, with no ulterior motive! Who knew that it will affect so many people. I am the same as everyone else. I have 2 ears, 2 eyes, and one mouth, I don’t know why it is that everything I say will cause so much trouble”. Some people have pointed out that Eason used the accusation of ayu lip-syncing to try to break into the Japanese market. Upon hearing this, Eason was very shocked and even let out a gasp, then tried to redeem himself by saying that he will not put others down just to get ahead himself. “I did not plan this to happen! If I became famous in Japan just because of this news, then I won’t feel any glory! I wish to enter the Japanese market as a singer. I did not mean to hurt her feelings! If I did, I’d like to say sorry!” Taiwan avex to relay apologies Will his company make apologies to ayu? Eason revealed that, “I will not make a public apology, because I have already made one privately! One of my albums was released by Taiwan avex, and I have asked the director to relay my apologies. I really did not mean to put her down, and did not realize the huge impact it made, I only said what I thought then!” Eason further stressed that he did not attend ayu’s concert specially to criticize her. He repeated, “I really did not mean to put her down, and did not realize the huge impact it made”. Even with all the rumours that ayu was upset by Eason’s comments, she is still on the path to earning big money! After the ayupan and mirror project, ayu collaborated with beloved Hello Kitty once more. This time, a celebrated jewellery brand is brought in too, producing 2 stunning mobile phone straps, selling at about HKD$650, making fans all around open their purse strings. translation by: goku @ ayunite Quote:
Eason Chan publicly criticized Japanese Queen Hamasaki Ayumi of lip-syncing sometime back. Once word was out, ayu was placed under pressure, even resorting to visiting pubs and getting drunk. On Friday night, when Eason attended a TV show, he finally admitted that he often said things which affected others deeply. He stressed that he did not mean for these things to happen, and that if he really hurt ayu, he wished to extend his apologies. He also said that he will put in effort to control his words in the future, so he will not insult others unknowingly again. Unknowingly causing hurt Eason Chan said, “I admit that sometimes I say things which result in many bad things. Who knew that it will affect so many people. I am the same as everyone else. I have 2 ears, 2 eyes, and one mouth, I don’t know why it is that everything I say will cause so much trouble. It looks like I have to continue working at controlling what I say.” Some reports have pointed out that his fame had increased in Japan due to this accusation, and has provided the perfect chance for him to break into the market. Eason stressed that, “I did not plan this to happen! If I became famous in Japan just because of this news, then I won’t feel any glory! I did not mean to hurt her feelings! If I did, I’d like to say sorry!” Will his company apologize to ayu? “Actually, I have already done so privately, because I know the director of ayu’s company personally. I said that I was sorry, that I did not know it would cause so much trouble. I hope that my words will be relayed to ayu. I really did not mean to hurt her”. translation by: goku @ ayunite Quote:

I did not realize the huge impact it made”. translation by: goku @ ayunite baka ass...with the help of ayu or not, he can never break into the Japanese market. He can keep on dreaming. He succeeded in getting noticed...what a loser.. Last edited by Ayumiko; 29th April 2007 at 06:10 AM. |

The thing is did he really apologized? like he said called Avex Taiwan? I don't think he did. Plus he only feels bad about hurting ayu. He didnt deny he wrongly accused her.
Anyways, if ayu did plan on going back to HK in the future, I think she should still do it. That would show them the queen of Jpop have nothing to hide. She didn't lip sync and didn't do anything wrong. Last edited by Ayumiko; 29th April 2007 at 03:35 AM. |
