Official Nicole Richie Thread

Does anyone know about Nicole Richie's upcoming album. It has no release date yet, but the seven songs reported to be done so far are a mixture of rock, soul and dance. I'm really excited for her album because i think maybe she can come up with something better than *stars are blind*~~.

She also released a free online single "Dandelion". I like it but she said it would be on the album, anyway Have any of you guys heard about the album??

I just downloaded the song Dandelion. It's not bad actually. Her voice is pretty nice for my liking. Her voice is different from talking. Just like Paris'.
Maybe cause they are not singers before.

I didn't really like the song, but her voice was nice.

Her father isn't lionel richie...Unless she was conceived by an egg and two sperm.

At least that's what I know...Nicole Richie was born to some white mother and another hispanic dude (who was also a singer) and she had to be adopted or something. Not sure on the details, but Lionel isn't her real father. Unless all the biography websites have been lying to me.

Yeah, I've read recently an article about her. She's been going through anorexia or sth.. poor girl anyway. And she was a friend of Paris, wasn't she? I'll listen her songs just because of curiousity :3

well since lionel richie is her father, thats why i would expect it to be a lot better than Paris'. She was BFF w/ Paris but they "broke up". I think that they will get back together though, paris said something like that....

i like all you guys views i am afraid to listen i am so serious where can we listen to it anyway someone send me a pm or somthing lol i heard paris's entire album...... it was i have no comment but i figure nicole at least went to her father and asked for advice he should be helping her he is a legend after all just as Sayaka daughter of seiko matsuuda was successful due to her help

I heard it on YouTube. All I have to say is she sounds like a thousand times better then Paris. It doesn't seem like the did alot to hear voice compared to Paris.

Personally I think her voice is much better than Paris'
But she needs more practice I think. It's rare that you start singing and everything is perfect. A voice developes with every song. She has some potential in her voice. So it could be good.
Hope she makes the best of it.
Even is Lionel is not her real father I think she will get a lot of help by him because he has a lot of experiences with music and a lot of knowledge.

Dandelion is okay, but the original with Kelis and LFO is much better
She should have come up with her own song though, not just a cover of an old one

I have no freakin' clue why do people by a smell just becouse it has someone's famous name on it... seriously... the name has nothing to do with quality or likeness of the odor, whatsoever... yet peoeple do buy it just becouse it's Spears, Hilton, Beckham... what's the point in using something that has someone's name on it? I understand certain names do actually go with quality, but not the celebs' names... people are soooo confusing to me sometimes

Anyway, as for Nicole... I must say she looked fugly in Simple Life 1, although still better than Paris (who looked like a walking Barbie doll, literally!), but when Simple Life 2 started, it was so obvious they hired stylists to make up their images... and she looked gorgeous! In Simple Life 3, she was even more beautiful... I loved her hairband style, and the episode when they did internship at an airport, she went out skating with the family's son, and she looked so beautiful in that pink set!

I know nothing about her, but it seems to me that she is a smarter person than Paris...

I can't wait to see Simple Life 5, although looking at the preview scoop from E! channel, it looks soooo staged, I'm not sure it's going to be any entertaining...

Out of all the 'famous for being famous' people, she has to be my favourite, if not the only person I have any sympathy towards...
