Performances that take your breath away

Hi, what do you say for topic of cool performances?
Well yesterday in Polish TV there was amazing concert "Eska Music Awards 2007", polish music radio Eska and its listeners choose best world and national artists. Here take a look at really amazing performance of Jamelia's "Beware of the dog", it is just...unbelievably powerful and ah, amazing.

A performance that always takes me breath away is when MALICE MIZER performed Le Ciel at their merveilles tour. It made a real impact when Gackt appeared with fake blood dripping from his mouth and covering his hands. Then 'flying' from on top of the stage with these huge black wings. His vocals were also top form as well.

It was amazingly powerful yet incredibly sad.

Performance on Youtube.

Yeah. MALICE MIZER's costumes are really extravagant. They usually use Victorian outfits or doll-like costumes.

I found that video on YouTube...

I love the dress Madonna was wearing, but her male dancers seemed kinda... gay

That's because they are. Except for one of them, I forget his name.

I love that performance too, she's such a good Marie Antoinette! I'm thinking about doing that same one for a drag show in the future, not sure yet. My other faves are American Life from Reinvention Tour and Live To Tell from Confessions Tour. I cried just watching them on DVD, let alone live.

Kylie is good in making effective performances. Although she is not a very good singer, I like her much better than Madonna. And her recent tour was very good.

Those Pink performances are amazing! Her voice is to die for.

Here's the Madonna ones I was talking about.

Confessions/Live To Tell (Confessions Tour)

*if you don't wish to see Madonna on the cross then simply don't click this link* It's too beautiful and filled with positive messages to go unnoticed.

American Life (Reinvention Tour)
Simply amazing!

One of my favorite live performances ever was when Mariah sang "Through The Rain" on Oprah. It's not on youtube, which makes me sad, but it was an incredible performance. Just proves she can still sing circles around any of those other talentless pop acts out there.

I also really loved "Don't Forget About Us" from the American Music Awards. But not because it was an awesome performance. She got to the show later than planned, and her dress didn't have a zipper or anything and was supposed to be sewed up in the back. They were sewing it until the start of her performance (the first of the night), and didn't completely finish. Then, because of that taking so long, her earphones weren't working and she couldn't hear herself (she explains this after the video clip ends). So it was a pretty bad performance, but she pulled it together in the end like a true champ and got a standing ovation.

And to end it off, the best of these 3 performances would be "Through The Rain" from the American Music Awards when she was named artist of the millenium or got the diamond award, or something like that (I forget). Oh, and Sharon Osbourne is on crack and her introduction is hilarious.

I also love that part, and her english is great. Well I like very much whole english part of that concert
I want to add powerfull performance of Infernal's "I won't be crying". Very very catchy (only playback is minus) but as a whole, amazing.
