Christina Aguilera Singapore Tour
Yup, Christina would be coming to Singapore soon this June Holidays.
Okay a little information... ================================================== ======= POP sensation Christina Aguilera’s world tour takes her to the Singapore Indoor Stadium on June 30. Her visit to the Lion City is part of her Back To Basics 2007 World Tour which started in Britain on Nov 23 last year. The multi-Grammy Award-winner has an acclaimed production team for her concert tour and they include choreographer and director Jamie King who has worked with Madonna, Janet Jackson and Prince, and costume designer Roberto Cavalli. The concert will feature three distinct stage scenes, illuminated by more than 600 moving lights, and a state-of-the-art hydraulic system. In addition, a special video montage will be featured from fan testimonials submitted to Aguilera’s fan club. Aguilera has sold more than 25 million albums worldwide, scored four Number One singles on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, and has won four Grammy Awards and a Latin Grammy Award. She has also won the Billboard Music Award for Female Artist of the Year in 2000 and two 2004 Rolling Stone Music Awards. Her third album, Back To Basics, debuted at Number One on four of Billboard’s music charts in the United States. The double-disc set, produced primarily by DJ Premier and Linda Perry utilises an orchestra, choir, string quartet and jazz horns, to blend a vintage raw sound with modern hip hop and soul flair. Aguilera, a New Yorker, made her debut in showbiz as a star of the Disney Channel’s New Mickey Mouse Club alongside Britney Spears in the early 1990s. In 1998, she sang Reflection for Disney’s animated film Mulan. This led to a record deal with RCA and the release of her debut album in 1999. The album also featured the hit songs Genie In A Bottle and What A Girl Wants. In 2001 Aguilera joined forces with Pink, Mya and Lil’ Kim on the hit song Lady Marmalade. She released her second album Stripped in 2002, with a sexy image. This album featured the hit songs Dirrty, Beautiful, Make Over and Can’t Hold Us Down. Aguilera, 26, is active in social and humanitarian causes such as AIDS awareness campaigns and campaigns against domestic violence and child abuse. Her Singapore show is organised by Live Nation and Nokia. Tickets are priced S$348, S$228, S$188, S$148 and S$98 (RM696, RM456, RM376, RM296 and RM196). Show starts at 8pm.
