Emiko Shiratori

Yea, I'm starting a thread for this wonderful and talented artist jsut as Ayu of ours (IMO, no offence)

http://perso.orange.fr/emiko.shiratori/biographie.htm
These are pictures of hers during time.

Emiko was born in 1950, meaning she is 57 years old at the moment.
I really like the wonderful voice, lyrics of hers and her husband. I feel love whenever I listen to her songs, so calm and beautiful.
I have uploaded 2 of her songs in the download section. (Tabitachi no hini and Galway no sora)

Here is the link for tabitachi no hini, the lastest single unfer the name of Emiko Shiratori which was released last year (2006). Still it's a great song, full of love and life.

Hope you guys enjoy, I'll upload some of her songs every week.
Please, come by, look for her music and enjoy.
Therefore, post your opinion about her here.

I jsut love this job, spread the love of Emiko to the world.

Melodies of life is one absolutely genious song. But then, i'm almost sure nobuo uematsu composed it. Hearing real vocals on it was like, one of the game's greatest surprises, because that song was already so beautiful and awesome throughout the entire game. And Emiko did one excellent job. Is she still releasing songs? i don't think she's that famous though...I don't know...

She's not really famous but throughout the songs I've listened to, she is one of the best artists I've ever listened to, yea I placed her next to Ayu on my chart.
She and her husband Sumio just released an album a few months ago, it's not available for download anywhere but I hope I can get it or buy it somehow.
Hence the truth that Emiko is not famous, finding her songs is an extremely difficult task.
I now have a source for her music and upload it weekly. I hope you guys will enjoy, if you want further reading, streaming, download (if you are really able to) just contact me I will explain everything.

Melodies of life is an amazing song, it fits the game perfectly making it the best among all the final fantasy songs. Still, I'd tell ya, melodies of life is not wat Emiko can do, she can do more than that.

I uploaded an extra song for this week:
THE BOOK OF LIFE http://www.sendspace.com/file/zq9i8n
Long ago some where in the future
In a place beyond space and time
There's a book for all to see
What has been, what could be, prophecies of the ages

Every little joy, every sorrow
Every little tear that is cried
Every word and deed every thought and feeling
Are written there on the pages

Some embrace only shadow, some embrace the light
But the life that we lead are the stories we leave
There in the book of life

Know this place is only a memory
Haunting as a dream from a far
And our hearts have lost the key; we don't know how to read
Signs that are there to guild us

Maybe we don't know all the answers
Maybe we can change who we are
All we have is love we can give our children
Love that we follows behind us

Some embrace only shadow, some embrace the light
But the life we lead are the stories we leave
There in the book of life

The book of life
The book of life
