ayaka - “For today”



ayaka, the young artist who’s been making it big over the last couple of years, is to release her first digital single. Titled For today, the single is expected to be out November 11 and will be used in the CM’s for Glico Pocky Chocolate and Men’s Pocky.

ayaka debuted with the single I believe in early 2006, which became the #34 best selling single of 2006. She has since released one full length album, collaborated with KOBUKURO and contributed to the Final Fantasy franchise as her latest single, CLAP & LOVE/Why (released September 5) was used in the PSP game FInal Fantasy VII: Crisis Core, with the latter track, Why, being the theme song.

ayaka’s second full length album is expected to be out before the year’s end with possibly one more single and a good chance that For today will also be included.
