What if the ayu's latest album entitled 'Marionette' instead of 'GUILTY' ?

I've been wondering this...since I didn't like Marionette at first listen...but then I turned to LOVE this song...so powerful...desperate...etc lol

And this title is so 'special'....coz it's between 2 interludes...hahha
ayu has never done it before

so I wonder what if latest album was 'Marionette' instead of 'GUILTY'?
then the cover has to changed...maybe... something like the Marionette PV lol

Well...it's just my opinion...I think GUILTY also make a great title ^^

I think I would have preferred that! I am a little biased because I love Marionette... but this would have been very cool!
Maybe Ayu with the white eyes would have been a little too scary/freaky and prevented people from buying it.

From a marketing point of view you might not want to do that because it would be a very different/creepy image of Ayu and it might scare off some of her younger fans... (alternatively it might make them even MORE interested lol)

Yeah..and people will have a totally different impression of ayu ( negative maybe? ) judging from the intimidating cover.

And also it's not economical for ayu to release such album and because of trying out a different style, the album might experience low sales.

On the other hand, since marionette is such a great song, the title song for the album will sound better. lol

Anyway it's just my opinion.

I prefer GUILTY as a title because it speaks to so many things that the album says. Marionette, with the current tracklist, in my opinion, wouldn't really say what the whole album is about.

It's a nice song title and it's a great song, but I don't think it would make a good album title.

The word "guilty" speaks volumes more than the word "marionette"; it has many more meanings, and each of them can be applied to a song on the album. Marionette is, of course, a fantastic song, but I think GUILTY is a great title as is.

Marionette is a nice title, but I like GUILTY to be the album title more. So just keep GUILTY as well.

Maybe I'm the only one who thinks Ayu with her white eyes on an album cover would be freakin' awesome. I wish I had a Marionette poster to hang on my wall, haha.

I prefer GUILTY, it brings to my mind a lot of emotions and thoughts, but with Marionette nothing really comes to mind. It makes me think of an image only, but GUILTY makes me think of a lot more, like a story, and Ayu's album titles make you think of something, whether it's emotions or something else.

I believe GUILTY is a better representation of the album as a whole and I respect her decision to name it such. Obviously she had a reason. That and I still haven't really connected with Marionette at all. For me, it's not bad.. it's just there. It's supposed to be powerful or sad or whatever but so far I'm not feeling it. Doesn't mean I might not love it in a week from now, I'm weird like that.

It would give a picture of even darker album than it already is. :p Marionette's PV was really dark and creepy, and the album cover would be darker than now. And I like that album as GUILTY better, because it's nice name for it.

for hardcore people, they might read all the lyrics and realise that the whole album is talking about "guilt" so perhaps GUILTY is a more appropriate title for the album. and it's definitely more impactful than Marionette although Marionette is a nicer word than GUILTY.
