Himitsu will be aiko eighth album

It's no secret that 2008 is J-pop sweetheart aiko's tenth anniversary in the music industry. The forever young and cheerful singer-songwriter made her debut in July 1998 with the single Ashita, and she's been a fan favorite and Oricon fixture since with her mellow ballads, friendly personae, and sweet voice. For her tenth year in the business, aiko offers her highly anticipated eighth album Himitsu ("Secret"). The track list of her latest album, her first since 2006's Kanojo, includes the singer's most recent single Futari ("Two People"), as well as 2007 releases like Final Fantasy Crystal Chronicles theme Hoshi no Nai Sekai ("World Without Stars"), breezy spring ballad Shiawase, and of course Yokogao, the theme song for hit NTV drama Hotaru no Hikari.
