in 1999, they debuted aboard a cruise ship in Hawaii, and have been making a storm across japan ever since! they are currently in their 11th year of success. arashi belong to the agency, Johnny & Associates, and they are under the record label - J-Storm. they've gotten single of the year in 2008, and single/album/DVD of the year in 2009.

大野智 | Ohno Satoshi

♥ Ohno became the group's leader because of a Rock-Paper-Scissors game he did with Sakurai! He didn't even want to be the leader!
♥ A mama's boy! He says his mom still buys his clothes & that goes for his shoes too o_O!
♥ Known for his amazing artistic ability & he really LOVES fishing!
♥ Never fails to engage in neverending otherwise dead panned mannered verbal & physical fights against SMAP's leader Nakai Masahiro whenever the guys appear on the comedy show Utaban in which Nakai's the host alongside with comedian Ishibashi Takaaki
♥ Possibly the most quietest member in the group but if you give him a chance to talk , he will bound to say something amusing/funny to make everyone laugh in any good way possible


松本潤 | Matsumoto Jun (also known as MatsuJun )

♥ Jun is an elite in Johnny's - meaning that he is one of the only 3 men in Johnny & Associates who didn't have to audition as the boss himself Johnny-san called him personally on his handphone to join the company!
♥ Unofficially in a way or 2 loyal fans of him coined the term "Jun-bait" no thanks to his good looks and acting roles!
♥ Although the youngest, he's the most serious about ARASHI's work!
♥ Became the 1st male artist to pose on the cover of the now defunct (in Japan only) Marie Claire magazine which took place 3 years ago in June (pun intended)
♥ In AHS , MatsuJun belongs to Beauty4123 / Lisa while Karen used to be his ex xD


二宮和也 | Ninomiya Kazunari (also known as Nino)

♥ Nino is the husband of Karen's french friend Nat xD
♥ Has made his Hollywood debut in Clint Eastwoods Letters from Iwo Jima!
♥ Loves to play jokes and pranks on other members!
♥ A self proclaimed Otaku!
♥ Together with Ohno , both of them form a duo called OhMiya which displayed a lot of *ahem* fanservice moments to the delight of fans!
♥ He especially has two mistresses from AHS, which are teddbear55 & ll moments ll !


櫻井翔 | Sakurai Sho

♥ Sho may seem to be the most manly in the group - but he's the biggest scaredy cat & he surprisingly screamed a lot more lesser than Aiba LOL LOL LOL during a special broadcast of Himitsu no Arashi-chan where they had to go in to investigate an inn that was 'haunted' ! & Sakurai can run REALLY fast . Faster than Aiba anytime of the day LOL
♥ Inspired many of his kouhai to attend college after getting into Keio University & in the process , graduated with a degree which he majored in Economics!
♥ Also hosts the popular news show NEWS ZERO!
♥ The designated rapper of the group who writes his own rap lyrics , this's also known as "Sakurap" . Because of him , this inspired his Junior , KAT-TUN's Tanaka Koki to do so too
♥ He's known as the brother in law of KarenPang! (LOL LOL LOL 8D )


相葉雅紀 | Aiba Masaki

♥ Aiba loves animals (even though he's scared of birds & kangaroos :O) which lead him to work on Tensai! Shimura Dobutsuen where he often gets to work (hilariously) with wild animals!
♥ Joined Johnny & Associates only to meet his idol V6's Miyake Ken and play basketball with SMAP!
♥ Loves speaking English - even though he's not too great at it!
♥ In the same wavelength (brain wise & then some) as BREAKERZ's frontman DAIGO
♥ Loves experimenting in lots of weird ways/manners you can imagine/think of in the band's variety shows ! So much so that he even has his own corner called Ai-land (short form for Aiba-land) in Arashi no Shukudai-kun!

Well, to be honest, after having heared the huge amount of praise Boku no Mitteiru Fuukei got, I was expecting something amazing. But I was pretty disappointed, actually >.<. It's so ... disjointed ... there's a super auto-tuned track one minute, than some weird circus-themed song next, then some sweet pop song, then something completely different again. I don't mind experimentation but I like to see an album as a cohesive whole, not just as a collection of different songs, even if they are good in their own right.

Maybe I need to get used to it, but I don't think I'm going to buy it now >.>

I already said before that the 1 thing I don't like in line with Boku no Miteiru Fukei is that I wish they put the solos in 1 separate disc & putting the group ones in another which they did for Time & Dream"A"live

other than that , I gladly take Boku no Mitteiru Fuukei anytime over Dream"A"live

you listen to Dream"A"live & then you tell me which one you prefer still at the end of the day xD & the solos were X_X & the only ones I like from there are Aiba's Hello Goodbye & Ohno's Take me faraway

The album tracks on there , some if not most are a to me

I guess Boku no Miteiru Fukei might have been more enjoyable if they were to do what they did like in Time & Dream"A"live , it would have make things easier for me , in due time when I review/talk about the album in my blog

I'm not comparing to Dream "A"live at all. Haven't listened to that one yet. So to me, it doesn't really matter whether or not I prefer that one or their most recent one, I just don't really love Boku no Mitteiru Fuukei.

Maybe I'll just stick to their singles from now on~

I listened from their 4th album Iza , Now onwards so I know what works & what doesn't for them

One is their 1st album onwards to include solos

since you don't like Boku no Miteiru Fukei , well there's nothing more I can say in changing your mind that it's so much more better than Dream"A"live as this statement applies to me & also to my younger sister

Also , I don't find anything wrong if you want to continue to listen to ARASHI just for their singles only . I did that for KinKi Kids after getting bore like snoozefest with regards to their J album & I don't plan to listen to their 1st 10 albums before J album anyway

The song that I wanted them to include in Boku no Miteiru Fukei but which sadly it didn't was Green . I rather Green replaced Sora Takaku which's still the most boring song I ever heard in their discography but other than that , top notch stuff I feel

Then again the album was only leaked out yesterday so I still need some time for the songs to sink in xD , I already had for movin' on , Refrain & Summer Splash ! xD

I like the scans for Boku no Miteru Fukei so much more than Dream"A"live

I suspect those black sunglasses inspired pics are the 1st press pages in question as there're a total of 65 pages/scans shots so yeah

you only get 34 pages & not 60 pages if you order the 2nd pressing for the album

I listened to the new album yesterday (the whole day) and today, but I can't get myself to like it.
The solos are so bad...bad! The only solo, which is really beautiful is Riida's (I can't stop listening to it!). Nino's is so-so, but the others are terrible. I can't listen to them at all.

I love all the "old songs" on "Boku no Miteiru Fukei", but there are only three new songs that I really love ("kagero", "Gift" and "Mukae ni iku yo"). I sometimes like bits and pieces of other new songs (like "circus", the refrain is really nice, but the rest of the song is boring), but all in all I'm really disappointed.

I guess, it's my own fault. I was expecting a second "Time"-album, because in my eyes this album is Arashi's masterpiece.

Well, whatever. I'll not stop listening to them, because they have some songs I really love , but I feel kinda let down after the new album.


@Beauty4123: Maybe "stupid" was the wrong word. Childish would be better. Aiba's and MatsuJun's solos sound so childish to me (in a bad way). I can't explain it were well, but I'm embarrassed to listen to them.

at the end of the day, it's your opinion and i can't & won't make you change what you think even if i disagree, it's okay. as long as you'll keep listening to them, i think it's fine i do hope the album will grow on you eventually, because i hate seeing people not enjoying music, especially arashi!

anyway, i've edited the first post of this thread (and the title - but that should be fixed later) and the scans to this album are EPIC. i love the dark coloring the group and solo images have. it goes with the cute and light pictures of the album very well. everyone looks perfect as well! i thought ALL THE BEST! had a good booklet, but this is just...amazing. those glasses crack me up like crazy, lol. especially nino's picture!

It's always nice to see, that other fans are not going to get upset or even angry at other fans, because of their opinion.
I also respect other peoples opinions, because everybody is allowed to think what they want.

But I also hope, that the album will grow on me. But there is hope, because I'm slowly becoming madly addicted to "circus". It's a really catchy and awesome song.
I also would have been very sad, if I didn't like a song called "circus"!
I hope, that I'll also start to love the other songs eventually.

I can't even remember the last time I listened to Dream"A"live which's like the worst album in their discography to me ()

It's the only album that I deleted songs from my mp3player too , I didn't do it in general for Iza , Now , One , ARASHIC & Time x)

the minute i saw them, i'm like "these are PERFECT!" there's so many good solo & groups shots in the booklet, omg. this album is just amazing all around!

i'm STILL listening to the album, btw. this isn't good because i should have a clear mind for tomorrow when i go for a college prep course
