o i've heard of this movie. it was released in uk but not a big release. something about a man and a woman being linked together by a red rope?? i saw the trailer of it but it was in japanese so i didn't understand.....

the movie of dolls has 3 independent stories of love and violence related, itz filmed by the famous director kitano takashi, after ayu watched the movie, she got inspired and wrote the song dolls

kyoko fukada is in one of the stories, there are many other big names in the cast too (sorry i dun know their english names tho)

Anyone watched that movie? Is it good? I'm really interested in watching it. It sounds like it's pretty good but I'd like to know the opinion of anyone who watched it!

the kyoko fukada story is about kyoko whoz a pop singer and there was this crazy fans of her that likes to follow her around and kyoko was scared of him, kyoko had an accident and after that her face looks very ugly, but that guys was still her fans and they finally to meet him....

the 2nd story is about this girl who's lover left her and gone away, she can't handle it and got shocked...

the 3rd story..i forgot..

by the way, just to clarify, the movie's film song wasn't sung by ayu, ayu's Dolls is just a song that, after watchin the movie, ayu was inspired by it and therefore she wrote a song called dolls

in fact therez no theme song for the movie, just theme music i believe

This sort of reminds me of the movie, Amores Peros" with the different stories and it seems like "Dolls" does not have a clearly happy ending, I like those type of movies...however, they always make me cry

i always thought [Dolls] was such a weird title for that track, as it had nothing to do with the lyrics, i thought it was a bit stupid, but its good to know the origins of how the song was named, thanks for clearing it up

I remember what she wore to the press conference. It was a nice purple-ish long coat outfit. And didn't the director of the movie say that he doesn't like Ayu and he thinks she dresses like a prostitute? x_X
