Boy bands & girl bands

I'm just curious to see if anyone else is REALLY sick of the boy/girl band trend in Korea, and to a lesser extent, Japan (maybe with the exception of certain songs). It's driving me crazy, because when I go to look for new music and try new artists, this is what I find!

Granted, I'm sure many of you love that sort of music, and if you do, it's all good. I don't want this to be a flame or anything.

but i can't stand japanese girlbands and boybands (i do like some though). so idk what to vote for lol

I dont really know much groups, since I'm mostly into solo singers. Theyre good I guess, but I havent listened to much

mostly girlband.. and I think only 2 girlband i like those are SPEED and dream

hmmm well I picked the first one, but I only like some of them, such as Perfume, Arashi, KAT-TUN and BeForU. It all depends on their music really.
If they were a solo artist, but had the same music I'd like them just as much!!

I support artistes that're both solo & groups

groups wise , I tend to lean more towards Johnny's & non Johnny's bands & it depends on my mood . Some days I want to switch off to Johnny's & just plug on rock bands to listen to

i wish they would slow down on the girl bands in korea @_@ they just keep popping up and it's getting rather irritating because they all sound the same, IMO. i only like 2ne1 because they're different.

except for the girl bands in Japan - they all pretty much suck.

i like some in Korea, they put out awesome catchy music and can actually dance and are great performers

JPop girls can be too annoying at times & i hate JE boys ~

Well I do mostly mean KPop, not the JPop aidoru groups that have been popping up for ages.

Boy bands are alright (well, minus ALL the Johnny's) not a big fan of girl bands tho...
