How to buy the 2013 Arena Ticket?
Do you guys will be attending the Tour? I really want to go, but not sure how to buy it. I live in South East Asia, and I can't read JPN. I want to attend the 27/7/2013 concert, anybody willing to buy for me? Of course I will pay you back via paypal. Or can we purchase the ticket via online and they send the ticket to our address?

^ you are in the AYUMI chat forum... who do you think the poster is talking about?
As for you question... there are tons of resale shops, so you first have to pick a city! There is a nice little sticky in one of the fourms about how the perosn got to japan and bought tickets! |

^^ Thanks TeamAyu2004, I was thinking maybe I will attend the 27/7 in Yoyogi, Tokyo. So, I have to go to JPN to actually buy the ticket then?

I'm talking about Ayu Arena TOur 2013. I have never been to JPN. So i'm not sure where to go or where to stay. I hope the hotel that I'm staying will be near the Yoyogi gymnasium~

you can go to yahoo japan auctions, but if you are going to japan, you can jjust wait till you get there for the ticket! There are also tons of hostels and hotels in the area... I do believe the guide that is up on the forums was about yoyogi!

I would recommend seeking out a reseller shop over purchasing tickets on YAJ, only due to the prices. The prices on YAJ are a lot higher than what they are in reseller shops. But if you feel more comfortable having your ticket before you go to Japan (and you don't know anyone in Japan who can help you get a ticket from a shop), then YAJ is your best option.

I wanna attend the concert on the 27th too. I'm very skeptical on getting the tickets only in Japan. Would love to get my hands on the tickets before going to Japan. What if I can't get any tickets when i'm there?!!?

There's a very big probablity that there are tickets left at re-seller shops. It would have been worse to her concerts back in 2002ish, but now she isn't THAT famous anymore, she doesn't always sell out. If you still don't trust that, you just have to get some japanese friends
![]() Yoyogi stadium is about 5-10 min walk from Harajuku station, so no matter where in Tokyo you end up, as long as you have a subway not too far away(which you probably won't) - you're pretty safe. |

^^ Yeah!! there were many left when I went last year. If you get there a couple of days before then it will be fine. Anyway, you dont really need to speak japanese to get your tickets. Just do some homework like where the shops, directions, the station to get off.. the shop that I went to in Shibuya called yokohama ticket. The tickets are all displayed on the shelves and the assistant has a map of the hall, so all you need is to pick. Dont worry, this is pretty simple if you have done some research. Good luck and have fun!!

A suggestion for hotels!
I lived in Shinjuku, a place called "Shinjuku New City Hotel" (which was hilarious because all the japanese said Shinjuku new ****** hotel" hahaha Booking.com link here It's a short walk from Shinjuku station! About 15 minutes maybe, and its close to some different restaurant. I REALLY liked staying here. The rooms are normal size(for japan) and and the staff are very friendly. Also cheap internet in the lobby. Some people complained about the beds being small, but we were two girls sharing a queen bed, no problem! I actually found my review on the site; Quote:

and I can recommend Otsuka City Hotel in Tokyo. Cheap and GREAT location just near Yamanote line, it's very easy to access Yoyogi!

Toyoko Inn Osaka Taniyon Kousaten. I loved this hotel. VERY close to subway, 20 minutes 'till Osaka Jo Hall.
P.S. I still feel guilty that I failed to meet you in Fukuoka.

I checked out the hotel, very cheap! And not very far from Shibuya and Shinjuku! But Shinjuku is kinda my home place after I've stayed there a couple of times, so I don't think I could ever betray Shinjuku

Hotel Monetary (sp?). 5 minute walk to Osaka-jo hall, it's where I stayed to see her last year. Nice little area too (hotel is set on a river), VERY cheap for a 3-4 star hotel and only a few train stops from Shinsaibashi/Dotonbori.
As for tickets, I used a Japanese shopping site and bought a ticket off Yahoo! Japan, where you'll get the best-value-for-money tickets. Do your research to find one with the least fees and best communication. I didn't pay much more than the auction price to have my tickets purchased for me and sent directly to Australia. DO NOT, I repeat, DO NOT rely on reseller shops if you are planning to see an Osaka show. There's lots of info here on Tokyo reseller shops but none for Osaka. I ended up finding a bunch of reseller stores in a shopping centre a local took me to (20 minutes out of her way, gotta love the Japanese), but I have no idea where it was and the tickets were overpriced for what seats you got. Reseller shops are NOT easy to find in Osaka, you won't just happen to stroll past one. For Tokyo - there's a reseller shop I passed in Shibuya and another in Harajuku (on the main shop strip, cannot miss). Pretty sure there's maps etc. in another ticket thread on AHS. If you've got the money, stay in Shibuya Excel Hotel Tokyu. I got 40% off the rate with Expedia so it was affordable, still more expensive than your typical cheap hotel but this one is right on Shibuya Crossing. You walk out of the hotel and you are at the crossing. If you're lucky enough, you'll get a room overlooking it. I had one on the 18th floor. Literally, the best money I spent while in Japan. I wish I was going this year, hope above info helps somebody. Last edited by Tony G; 4th February 2013 at 11:43 PM. |
