About Carols MV...

From the My Story DVD, we can see parts of the unused shots for the Carols MV...
(The swing scene...)

I think that there is actually not much problem with the video taken...
Do u all think that it's a waste that it is not being used in the Carols MV...?

Thought the same - really love the swing scene. It's such a waste it wasn't included in the PV, it's really pretty :/

(Reading the title of the thread I thought the DVD had the PV with this added scenes :/ cause I still haven't watched mine - I'll watch it tomorrow with my bfriend )

No. I don't think it goes well with video, actually. And without it being cutted, we won't have special pieces in those Making of xxxx videos.

Yah, but I really do hope that they would come out with that version of the Carols MV, cuz it is really one of the best ayu songs lately... to me at least...

Maybe it was just me, but it looked like Ayu was scared to get on the swing. She may be afraid of heights. Maybe she(or someone else) decided it didn't look good.

I think that the swing would have been nice in the PV, with some other angles. (Not just the circle.) But it may have seemed a little out of place.

If Ayu was that afraid of heights, she wouldn't of gone on the swing during A Museum 2004 while singing Dearest.

Fear of heights couldn't be the problem. She was flying all over the place in A MUSEUM (Paint to the rescue ):

Yeah. O.o

Hey, I haven't been able to get MY STORY yet, could someone show one cap from this scene? I'd love to get a little peek at it...thanks. <3

EDIT: Ayu_desu beat me to the observation, but I've got the caps ne~

It looked like they went through a lot of trouble to film that swing segment. There was a typhoon going on or something. Not only do I think the exclusion of the scene was a waste, I also think it made the PV in general a whole lot less interesting.

*snaps fingers* That's right. I forgot about that. Then again, the wind was blowing really hard. I know I'd be afraid of being blown off. O.O

And I agree that they went through a lot of trouble to do the swing scene. (Check out that rotating camera rig.) I really wonder why it wasn't used.

I think that scene must be used for the cover...
Although the clothes were not the same~
The shots must be a rehersal preparation in the DVD when ayumi wore a black dress but on the cd cover she wore a white one~!!!
I don't think that the PV must have a 2nd version for the unoffical upcoming A Clips vol.3 that mentioned by someone on some other BBS.

maybe they thought it would be strange to use the shoot of the cover scene on the pv. =/ Anyways. I thought it would have made a nice inclusion.
