Important AVEX affair details.

Yesterday, I was talking with one of my japanese friend about AVEX affair. I was saying that this story was not good at all for Avex. But he didn't agree with me. In this conversation, I learned a lot of things, and I think I should tell them to the communauty of AHS.

Now, in Japan, Avex affair is the biggest news. Let me explain a few points :

When Matsuura san decided to leave avex, everyone told it was because of a "conlict". I dont know how many people know what was the conflict, so I'll explain it fastly. In Avex, there was "old-way managers" and "new-way managers". Matsuura was in the new way. Thoses 2 groups were always fighting about the way to manage the company. Recently, as we all know, Matsuura said: "Its enough. I leave AVEX". The old-way managers said :"No problem, leave."

Then Ayu's decision. Ayu's wave. Ayu's shock.
Ayu's decision : She told to the medias that she wanted to follow Matsuura.
Ayu's wave : many other artists have been influenced by her, and decided to follow Ayumi.
Ayu's shock : this graph show the profit of Avex after Ayu's comment (blue rectangles)

After they saw this, old-way managers have been obligated to change their point of view. In fact, they had no choice : they left the company. The president of avex was one of those old-way managers, and he left too. Now, there is a new president. He is on the same side of Matsuura, he understands Matsuura's point of view and agree with him. This will probably mean "changes" for Avex, don't you think?

Ayumi moves a compagny. Ayu moves market, music market. Matsuura wasn't really famous in Japan before. With this story, and because Ayumi wanted to follow him, now everyone in Japan knows him. Ayumi showed that she has a huge power on japanese market.
